Abstract

Pengaruh Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok Teknik Role Playing Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi: Skripsi, Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan, FKIP Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing: (I) Dr. K.A. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah. Faktor penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa adalah siswa lebih condong memiliki kebosanan serta banyak bermain,hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya sikap seperti tidak merasa rugi saat tidak masuk sekolah, tidak suka mencari informasi yang berkenaan dalam pelajaran di sekolah, takut mencoba sesuatu dikarenakan selalu dibayang-bayangi oleh kegagalan, dan senang jika ada jam kosong saat di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan seberapa besar keberhasilan keberhasilan motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi sebanyak 245 siswa.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang siswa yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Instrumen atau alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan angket (kuesioner) layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing dan angket motivasi belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan persentase dengan formula C, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan treatment yang mana terlihat dari hasil posttest yaitu berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan hasil rata-rata 93,dengan uraian yaitu 13 orang siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 43%, kemudian pada kategori tinggi sebanyak 9 orang siswa dengan hasil persentase 30%, dan pada kategori sedang sebanyak 4 orang siswa dengan persentase 14%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan hasil hipotesis diketahui Thitung yaitu sebesar 5.792. Adapun nilai dari Ttabel dengan nilai Sig. (2- tailed) 0,05 yaitu sebesar 2,160. Dapat dihitung bahwa Thitung> Ttabel sehingga hipotesis dinyatakan diterima atau terdapat pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing dalam meningkatkan motivasi belaja siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi. This research is motivated by the condition of students who have low learning motivation. Factors causing low student learning motivation are students who tend to have boredom and play a lot, this is indicated by attitudes such as not feeling at a loss when not going to school, not liking to look for information related to lessons at school, afraid to try something because it is always overshadowed by failure, and happy when there are free hours while at school. This study aims to reveal how much success the success of student learning motivation can be increased through role playing technique group guidance services. The population in this study were 245 students in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City. The sample in this study was 30 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This type of research is a quantitative research with an experimental approach. The instrument or data collection tool used is a questionnaire (questionnaire), group guidance services, role playing techniques and learning motivation questionnaires. Data were analyzed using percentage calculations with formula C, normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The results showed that in general students' learning motivation increased after being given treatment which can be seen from the results of the posttest, which is in the very high category with an average result of 93, with a description of 13 students being in the very high category with a percentage of 43%, then in in the high category there are 9 students with a percentage of 30%, and in the medium category there are 4 students with a percentage of 14%. The results of the study also show that the results of the hypothesis are known to be Tcount, which is equal to 5,792. The value of Ttable with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05, which is 2.160. It can be calculated that Tcount> Ttable so that the hypothesis is declared accepted or there is an influence of role playing technique group guidance services in increasing the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City.
