Abstract

This research study aims to find out and analyzing of student’s difficulties in English online learning. The research focuses on the student’s difficulties faced by during their learning process as the online. The study was conducted among 67 students or participant from 14 senior high school Jambi cities, who had prior experience in online learning from January until July periodic. The research Methodology employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the instrument to determine the data. The questionnaire was designed to find out and analysis the students difficulties on English online learning process. The findings of the study revealed that students gets some difficulties during their learning process. Based on the research findings, some difficulties’ student faced when do online learning are as follow; signal problem, limited internet quota, lack of knowledge about it, and uncomfortable environment. Most of the students still prefer to do face to face learning than online learning. Face to face learning make them more actively in communicate each other, encourage their learning ability, and motivate themselves in their learning process.
