Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Stres kerja guru adalah suatu tekanan atau beban kerja yang dialami selama menjalankan tugasnya disekolah yang dapat menimbulkan adanya ketidakseimbangan fisik dan psikologis dalam menghadapi suatu masalah maupun pekerjaan yang bisa mempengaruhi emosi, pikiran, serta kondisi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada guru di SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian yakni guru pegawai negeri sipil SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi dengan sampel berjumlah 40 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel secara total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner OSI-R, kuesioner NASA-TLX, dan denyut nadi menggunakan stopwatch. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square (95%Cl). Hasil: Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji chi square menunjukkan variabel usia (p=0.006), beban kerja fisik (p<0.001), dan beban kerja mental (p=0.001) memiliki hubungan dengan stres kerja pada guru SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan stres yaitu jenis kelamin (p=0.418). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara umur, beban kerja fisik, dan beban kerja mental dengan stres kerja pada guru SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi. ABSTRACT Background : Teacher work stress is a pressure or workload experienced while carrying out their duties at school which can lead to physical and psychological imbalances in dealing with a problem or work that can affect emotions, thoughts, and health conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work stress for teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Jambi City. Methods: This study uses a type of quantitative research using a cross sectional research design. The study population was civil servant teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Jambi City with a sample of 40 people. The sampling method is total sampling. Data collection uses the OSI-R questionnaire, NASA-TLX, and the pulse uses a stopwatch. Data analysis used the chi-square test (95%Cl). Results: The results of data analysis using the chi square test showed that the variables age (p=0.006), physical workload (p<0.001), and mental workload (p=0.001) had a relationship with work stress in SMP Negeri 6 Jambi City teachers. While the variable that is not related to stress is gender (p=0.418). Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, physical workload, and mental workload with work stress on SMP Negeri 6 Jambi City teachers.
