Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh aplikasi kompos paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai (Glycine max L.) dan mengetahui dosis kompos paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan pupuk kandang sapi yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai (Glycine max L.) terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan pupuk kompos paitan(Tithonia diversifolia L.) dan pupuk kandang sapi yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu: s0 = pupuk anorganik, s1 = kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 + pupuk kandang sapi 0 ton ha-1, s2 = kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 + pupuk kandang sapi 5 ton ha-1, s3 = kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 + pupuk kandang sapi 10 ton ha-1, dan s4 = kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 + pupuk kandang sapi 15 ton ha-1. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, umur berbunga, jumlah polong pertanaman, jumlah polong berisi pertanaman, bobot 100 biji, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, dan hasil per petak ubinan. Pemberian kombinasi kompos paitan dan pupuk kandang sapi dapat menggantikan penggunaan pupuk anorganik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Pada variabel bobot 100 biji dan bobot kering tajuk tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kompos paitan dan pupuk kandang sapi, namun berbeda nyata terhadap pupuk anorganik. Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada pemberian pupuk anorganik, namun pada dosis kompos paitan 5 ton ha-1 dan pupuk kandang sapi 0 ton ha-1 merupakan dosis terbaik dibandingkan dengan aplikasi kompos paitan dan pupuk kandang sapi lainnya. Kata kunci : kedelai, pertumbuhan, hasil, kompos paitan dan pupuk kandang sapi This study aims to see the effect of the application of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia) and cow manure on the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.) and to determine the dosage of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia) and cow manure that can provide growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.) best. The study was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) with the treatment of paitan compost (Tithonia diversifolia L.) and cow manure consisting of 5 treatment levels, namely: s0 = inorganic fertilizer, s1 = paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 + manure cattle 0 tons ha-1, s2 = paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 + cow manure 5 tons ha-1, s3 = paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 + cow manure 10 tons ha-1, and s4 = paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 + cow manure 15 tons ha-1. The variables observed were plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, number of pods planted, number of pods filled with plants, weight of 100 seeds, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, and yield per tiled plot. Giving a combination of paitan compost and cow manure can replace the use of inorganic fertilizers in increasing the growth and yield of soybean plants. The variable weight of 100 seeds and dry weight of shoots were not significantly different from paitan compost and cow manure, but significantly different from inorganic fertilizers. The best results were obtained by applying inorganic fertilizers, but at a dose of paitan compost 5 tons ha-1 and cow manure 0 tons ha-1 was the best dose compared to the application of paitan compost and other cow manure.
