Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masalah yang sering muncul di lapangan dalam asuhan keperawatan adalah banyak perawat yang belum melakukan pendokumentasian keperawatan. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan asuhan keperawatan yang professional yaitu dengan pre dan post conference sebagai komunikasi perawat. Terlaksananya pre dan post conference dengan baik akan berdampak pada pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk diketahuinya hubungan pre dan post conference dengan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di ruang perawatan cendana dan akasia Rumah Sakit Dr. Bratanata Kota Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskripsi korelasi dan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling. Hasil: Berdasarkan analisis data, pelaksanaan pre dan post conference terbanyak yaitu dalam kategori baik (96,7%), pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan terbanyak berada dalam kategori lengkap (100%), dan berdasarkan hasil uji ChiSquare didapatkan nilai sig (2-tailed) yaitu 0,016 dan nilai korelasi 0,317. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pre dan post conference dengan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di ruang perawatan cendana dan akasia Rumah Sakit Dr. Bratanata Kota Jambi Tahun 2023. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan sehingga perawat dapat memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang profesional. Kata Kunci: Pre dan Post Conference, Pendokumentasian Asuhan Keperawatan Background: The problem that often arises in the field of nursing care is that many nurses have not done nursing documentation. One effort to improve professional nursing care services is pre and post conference as nurse communication. Proper implementation of pre and post conferences will have an impact on good nursing care documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between pre and post conference with the documentation of nursing care in the sandalwood and acacia treatment room at Dr. Bratanata Jambi City. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a correlation description research design and a cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 30 respondents with a sampling technique that is total sampling. Results: Based on data analysis, the most pre and post conferences were in the good category (96.7%), the most nursing care documentation was in the complete category (100%), and based on the results of the Chi-Square test, the sig (2-tailed) score was 0.016 and a correlation value of 0.317. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between pre and post conference with the documentation of nursing care in the sandalwood and acacia treatment room at Dr. Bratanata Jambi City in 2023. It is hoped that this research can become input so that nurses can provide professional nursing care. Keywords: Pre and Post Conference, Nursing Care Documentation
