Abstract

Granitoid pada daerah penelitian tersingkap dikarenakan keberadaannya terdapat pada bagian perbukitan barisan yang mana perbukitan barisan ini merupakan busur magmatik sunda-banda yang berumur miosen akhir-pliosen. Daerah penelitian berada di Kecamatan Gunung Kerinci dan sekitarnya, Kabupaten Kerinci, Provinsi Jambi. Secara fisiografi daerah penelitian berada pada Zona Perbukitan Barisan dan Zona Sesar Sumatra. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tatanan geologi daerah penelitian yang meliput, geomorfologi, stratigrafi, struktur geologi dan sejarah geologi daerah penelitian dan mengetahui karakteristik granitoid di daerah penelitian. Pada geologi daerah penelitian terdapat morfologi berupa lahan perbukitan struktural, lembah struktural dan gawir sesar. Pola pengaliran yang berkembang adalah rektangular dan sub-denritik. Terdapat 4 satuan batuan yang terdapat pada daerah penelitian yaitu Breksi Sedimen Sungai Bermas, Intrusi Granodiorit Sungai Bermas, Intrusi Granit Sungai Bermas dan Breksi Piroklastik Sungai Gelampe. Dari hasil analisis XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) dapat dilakukan analisis menggunakan beberapa diagram. Hasil plotingan kedalam diagram TAS (Total Alkali Silika) dengan perbandingan SiO2 terhadap Na2O+K2O didapkan hasil bahwa jenis batuan yang dianalisis adalah diorit dan granit. Berdasarkan hasil plotingan diagram Na2O+K2O vs SiO2 didapatkan bahwa granitoid pada daerah penelitian termasuk kedalam golongan sub-alkalin dimana nilai SiO2 tinggi yang dapat menunjukkan bahwa sampel batuan merupakan batuan yang termasuk kedalam batuan intermediet-asam. Seri magma menggunakan diagram AFM dan didapatkanlah seri magma termasuk kedalam kalk-alkalin dimana seri magma kal-alkalin ini hanya terjadi pada zona konvergen, magma yang terdapat pada granitoid daerah penelitian berasal dari tatanan tektonik destructive plate margin dimana magma yang terbentuk berada pada tepi benua aktif, pada tepi benua aktif batuan yang ditemukan adalah intermediet sampai asam. Granitoids in the study area are exposed due to their presence in the Barisan Hills where the Barisan Hills are a Sunda-Banda magmatic arc that is late Miocene-Pliocene in age. The research area is in Gunung Kerinci District and its surroundings, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. Physiographically, the study area is in the Barisan Hills Zone and the Sumatran Fault Zone. The purpose of this study was to determine the geological setting of the study area covering, geomorphology, stratigraphy, geological structure and geological history of the study area and to determine the characteristics of the granitoids in the study area. In the geology of the study area, there are morphologies in the form of structural hills, structural valleys and fault escarpments. The drainage patterns that develop are rectangular and sub-denritic. There are 4 rock units found in the study area, namely Sedimentary Breccia of the Bermas River, Granodiorite Intrusion of the Bermas River, Granite Intrusion of the Bermas River and Pyroclastic Breccia of the Gelampe River. From the results of the XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) analysis, an analysis can be carried out using several diagrams. The results of plotting into the TAS (Total Alkali Silica) diagram with a ratio of SiO2 to Na2O+K2O precipitated the result that the rock types analyzed were diorite and granite. Based on the results of plotting the Na2O+K2O vs SiO2 diagram, it was found that the granitoids in the study area belong to the sub-alkaline group where the SiO2 value is high which can indicate that the rock sample is a rock belonging to the acid-intermediate rock. The magma series uses the AFM diagram and the magma series is included in the calc-alkaline series where the calc-alkaline magma series only occurs in the convergent zone, the magma contained in the granitoid of the study area originates from the destructive plate margin tectonic order where the magma formed is on the edge of an active continent , on the active continental margin the rock found is intermediate to acid.
