Abstract

Abstrak: Anemia menjadi masalah kesehatan yang banyak ditemukan pada remaja. Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) merupakan salah cara untuk mencegah anemia, akan tetapi tingkat konsumsi TTD di Indonesia masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tidak konsumsi TTD pada remaja putri. Jenis penelitian cross sectional, jumlah sampel sebanyak 85 siswi di SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Variabel penelitian ialah perilaku tidak konsumsi TTD, pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan guru, dukungan keluarga, dan dukungan teman sebaya. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Analisis menggunakan chi-square dan cox regression. Proporsi siswi yang tidak mengonsumsi TTD adalah 95,3%. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (PR= 1,121; 95% CI:1,002-1,254) dengan perilaku tidak konsumsi TTD. Tidak ada hubungan antara sikap (PR= 1,063; 95% CI: 1,001-1,128), dukungan guru (PR= 1,083; 95% CI: 1,002-1,172), dukungan keluarga (PR= 1,087; 95% CI: 1,002-1,180), dukungan teman sebaya (PR= 1,103; 95% CI: 1,002-1,213) dengan perilaku tidak konsumsi TTD. Faktor dominan pada penelitian ini ialah pengetahuan (PR= 1,113; 95% CI: 0,712-1,738) setelah dikontrol oleh variabel dukungan guru. Pengetahuan yang rendah dan kurangnya dukungan guru menyebabkan remaja tidak mengonsumsi TTD. Disarankan agar sekolah untuk lebih aktif memberikan informasi mengenai TTD pada remaja putri. Abstract: Anemia is a health problem that is often found in adolescents. Iron supplement tablets is one way to prevent anemia, but the level of iron supplement consumption in Indonesia is still low. The aim of the study was to determine the proportions and to analyze the factors associated with not consuming iron supplement in young women. This type of research is cross-sectional, total sample of 85 female students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi who were selected using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The variables of this study are the behvior of not consuming iron supplement tablet, knowledge, attitudes, teacher support, family support, and peer support. Data collection by interview, and analysis using chi-square and cox regression. The proportion of female students who did not take iron supplements was 95.3%. There is a relationship between knowledge (PR = 1.121; 95% CI: 1.002-1.254) and the behavior of not taking iron supplement. There is no relationship between attitude (PR = 1.063; 95% CI: 1.001-1.128), teacher support (PR = 1.083; 95% CI: 1.002- 1.172), family support (PR = 1.087; 95% CI: 1.002-1.180), peer support (PR = 1.103; 95% CI: 1.002- 1.213) with the behavior of not consuming iron supplement. The dominant factor in this study was knowledge (PR = 1.113; 95% CI: 0.712-1.738) after controlled teacher support. Low knowledge and lack of teacher support causes youth not to take iron supplement tablets. It is recommended that schools to be more active in providing information about iron suppment to young women
