Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan keadaan usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Batang Asam. 2) Mendeskripsikan rantai pasok beras Kecamatan Batang Asam. 3) Menganalisis kinerja rantai pasok beras di Kecamatan Batang Asam. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Mei￾Juni 2023. Sebanyak 43 petani padi dan 15 pedagang menjadi responden dengan metode Simple Random Sampling dan Snowball Sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) dan efisiensi pemasaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Batang Asam dilakukan 2 kali dalam setahun dengan sistem sawah irigasi, menggunakan benih unggul Inplara 32 dan sebagian benih varietas lokal. Menggunakan tenaga kerja dalam dan luar keluarga dan menggunakan teknologi usaha tani. Hasil produksi dijual dalam bentuk Gabah Kering Panen dan Gabah Kering Giling. 2) Sasaran rantai pasok beras sudah memiliki target jelas. Namun, pengoptimalisasian sasaran rantai pasok dalam rantai pemasaran beras masih belum efisien karena rendahnya harga padi ditingkat petani meskipun permintaan beras cukup tinggi. Proses bisnis rantai pasok terkendala karena pada aliran produk beras dari petani hingga ke pedagang pengolah belum terintgrasi dengan baik karena siklus yang fleksibel. 3) Pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok beras di Kecamatan Batang Asam menunjukkan sebaran margin, farmer share dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya setiap aliran rantai pasok dalam masing-masing aliran masih belum merata. Aliran yang memiliki sebaran total margin terbesar Rp. 7.392/kg pada aliran I, farmer’s share terbesar yaitu sebesar 50,45% pada aliran II dan total rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya yang besar yaitu 14,81% pada aliran I. This research aims to: 1) describe the condition of wet rice farming in Batang Asam Subdistrict. 2) Describe the rice supply chain in Batang Asam Subdistrict. 3) Analyze the performance of the rice supply chain in Batang Asam Subdistrict. The study took place in May-June 2023. A total of 43 rice farmers and 15 traders were respondents using the Simple Random Sampling and Snowball Sampling methods. Data were analyzed using the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) analysis method and marketing efficiency approach. Based on the research results: 1) Wet rice farming in Batang Asam Subdistrict is conducted twice a year with an irrigation system, using superior seeds such as Inplara 32 and some local varieties. Labor from within and outside the family is utilized, along with agricultural technology. The produced harvest is sold in the form of Dried Harvested Paddy and Dried Milled Paddy. 2) The objectives of the rice supply chain are clear. However, the optimization of supply chain objectives in the rice marketing process is not yet efficient due to the low paddy prices at the farmer level, despite the high demand for rice. The supply chain process is hindered because the flow of rice products from farmers to processors is not well-integrated due to a flexible cycle. 3) The measurement of rice supply chain performance in Batang Asam Subdistrict shows that the distribution of margins, farmer's share, and the profit-to-cost ratio in each supply chain flow is not evenly distributed. The flow with the largest total margin distribution of Rp. 7,392/kg is in flow I, the highest farmer's share of 50.45% is in flow II, and the total profit-to-cost ratio is high at 14.81% in flow I.
