Abstract

ABSTRAK : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rasio efisiensi protein pada penggunaan tepung limbah udang olahan sebagai pengganti tepung ikan pada ransum ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu R0 : ransum tanpa penggantian Tepung Limbah Udang, R1 : penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung limbah udang sebanyak 25 %, R2 penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung limbah udang sebanyak 50 %, R3 : penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung limbah udang sebanyak 75 %, dan R4 : penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung limbah udang sebanyak 100 %. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, pertambahan bobot badan dan raiso efisiensi protein. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA), jika berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggantian tepung ikan dengan tepung limbah udang olahan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, pertambahan bobot badan dan rasio efisiensi protein. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tepung limbah udang olahan dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti tepung ikan dalam ransum ayam broiler dengan taraf sebesar 50 % atau 6 % pemberiannya dalam ransum tanpa mempengaruhi rasio efisiensi protein ransum ayam broiler ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study was to determine the protein efficiency ratio in the use of processed shrimp waste flour as a substitute for fish meal in broiler rations. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, namely R0: ration without shrimp waste meal replacement, R1: 25% replacement of fish meal with shrimp waste flour, R2 replacement of fish meal with 50% shrimp waste flour, R3: 75% replacement of fish meal with shrimp waste flour, and R4: 100% replacement of fish meal with shrimp waste flour. The observed variables were ration consumption, protein consumption, body weight gain and protein efficiency ratio. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if it had a significant effect then it was continued with Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that replacing fish meal with processed shrimp waste meal had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on ration consumption, protein consumption, body weight gain and protein efficiency ratio. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that processed shrimp waste flour can be used as a substitute for fish meal in broiler rations with a level of 50% or 6% in rations without affecting the protein efficiency ratio of broiler rations.
