Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui(1) Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar terhadap Minat Melanjutkan Studi ke Perguruan Tinggi (2) Pengaruh Prestasi Belajar terhadap Minat Melanjutkan Studi ke Perguruan Tinggi (3) Pengaruh Status Sosial Ekonomi Orangtua terhadap Minat Melanjutkan Studi ke Perguruan Tinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 berjumlah 131 siswa yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan metode angket atau kuesioner. Metode angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data variabel bebas Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar dan Status Sosial Ekonomi Orangtua beserta variabel terikat Minat Melanjutkan Studi ke Perguruan Tinggi. Metode analisis data dengan metode Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda, Uji Koefisien Determinasi (R2), serta pengujian hipotesis yaitu Hipotesis 1 dan Hipotesis 4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan menunjukkan Secara parsial variabel motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar dan status sosial ekonomi berpengaruh positif dan signifkian terhadap minat melanjutkan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Secara simultan motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar dan sosial ekonomi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar, Status Sosial Ekonomi Orangtua Abstract This study aims to determine (1) the effect of learning motivation on the interest in continuing to study in higher education (2) the effect of learning achievement on the interest in continuing to study in higher education (3) the influence of parents' socio-economic status on the interest in continuing to study in higher education. The population in this study were 131 students in Class XII at State Senior High School 6 Muaro Jambi for the 2022/2023 Academic Year who were taken by simple random sampling. Data collection by questionnaire or questionnaire method. The questionnaire method was used to collect data on the independent variables of Learning Motivation, Learning Achievement and Parents' Socio-Economic Status along with the dependent variable Interest in Continuing Study in Higher Education. Methods of data analysis with the method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Test (R2), as well as hypothesis testing, namely Hypothesis 1 and Hypothesis 4. Based on the results of the research, it is partially shown that the variables of learning motivation, learning achievement and socioeconomic status have a positive and significant effect on interest in continuing to college level. Simultaneously learning motivation, learning achievement and socio-economic have a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing to higher education.
