Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) di Indonesia masih sangat tinggi. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai macam faktor. Buku KIA berfungsi sebagai alat informasi dan screaning kesehatan bagi Ibu hamil, bayi dan balita. Saat ini pemanfaatan Buku KIA bagi ibu hamil masih sangat rendah. mengingat buku ini berpengaruh terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Hamil dalam meningkatkan derajat Kesehatan. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriftif. Informan Penelitian ini terdiri dari ibu hamil, Kepala Puskesmas, Koordinator Poli KIA, Bidan Puskesmas, Bidan Praktek dan Bidan Klinik. Pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara mendalam, observasi dan telaah dokumen. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan adalah content analysis. Analisis data kualitatif menggunakan bantuan software Open Code. Hasil: Pengetahuan ibu hamil dalam pemanfaatan buku KIA mengenai isi, fungsi, manfaat dan kegiatan sudah baik hanya pada pengertian yang masih belum tepat. Sikap ibu hamil dalam pemanfaatan buku KIA masih kurang. Dapat terlihat dari minat membaca dan kurang memahami isi buku KIA. Selain itu, peran petugas kesehatan masih kurang karena belum menjelaskan mengenai fungsi dan isi dari buku KIA. Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pemanfaatan buku KIA termaksud baik karena ibu hamil sudah memahami isi, fungsi, manfaat dan kegiatan dengan buku KIA. Tetapi masih belum paham mengenai pengertian dari buku KIA. Sikap ibu hamil dalam pemanfaatan buku KIA masih kurang karena jarang membaca serta menggunakan Buku KIA dalam upaya pencegahan AKB dan AKI. Peran Petugas kesehatan dalam pemanfaatan buku KIA masih kurang terlihat dari tidak melakukan konseling mengenai buku KIA kepada ibu hamil. Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan Buku KIA, Ibu Hamil, Puskesmas Siulak Gedang ABSTRACT Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia are still very high. This can be influenced by various factors. The MCH Handbook functions as an information tool and health screening for pregnant women, infants and toddlers. Currently the utilization of the MCH Handbook for pregnant women is still very low. considering that this book influences the Knowledge and Attitudes of Pregnant Women in improving Health status. Method: The research method used is a qualitative research method, with an descriptive approach. The informants for this study consisted of pregnant women, Head of the Health Center, Coordinator of the MCH Poly, Health Center midwives, Practical Midwives and Clinical Midwives. Data collection through in-depth interviews, observation and document review. The analytical approach used is content analysis. Qualitative data analysis using the help of Open Code software. Results: The knowledge of pregnant women in using the MCH handbook regarding the contents, functions, benefits and activities is good, but the understanding is still not correct. The attitude of pregnant women in using the MCH handbook is still lacking. It can be seen from the interest in reading and the lack of understanding of the contents of the MCH handbook. In addition, the role of health workers is still lacking because they have not explained the functions and contents of the MCH handbook. Conclusion: The knowledge of pregnant women regarding the use of the MCH handbook is good because pregnant women already understand the contents, functions, benefits and activities of the MCH handbook. But they still don't understand the meaning of the MCH handbook. The attitude of pregnant women in utilizing the MCH handbook is still lacking because they rarely read and use the MCH handbook in an effort to prevent IMR and MMR. The role of health workers in utilizing the MCH handbook is still less visible than not conducting counseling regarding the MCH handbook to pregnant women.
