Abstract

Buncis (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) termasuk dalam jenis sayuran yang memiliki nilai gizi yang relatif tinggi, kaya sumber protein nabati. Buncis merupakan kelompok dari leguminosa yang memiliki rasa manis dan enak. Produktivitas buncis di Jambi dari tahun ke tahun mengalami fluktuasi. Salah satu cara agar tercukupinya unsur hara bagi tanaman buncis yaitu dengan penggunaan pupuk organik dan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon tanaman dan mendapatkan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair kulit pisang yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman buncis di polybag. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan April 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok, dengan perlakuan pupuk organik cair kulit pisang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dari tiap variabel pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam, apabila berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test pada taraf 5%. Variabel yang diamati adalah Panjang tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per polong dan panjang polong. Hasil penelitian aplikasi berbagai konsentrasi POC kulit pisang berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. POC kulit pisang dengan konsentrasi 90% memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tertinggi berdasarkan hasil penelitian untuk panjang tanaman, bobot polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman dan panjang polong. Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is a type of vegetable that has a relatively high nutritional value, a rich source of vegetable protein. beans are a group of legumes that have a sweet and delicious taste. Chickpea productivity in Jambi fluctuates from year to year. One way to get enough nutrients for beans plants is by using organic fertilizers and reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to assess the response of plants and get the concentration of banana peel liquid organic fertilizer that provides growth and yield of chickpea plants in polybags. This experiment was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, from January to April 2023. The method used was Randomized Group Design, with the treatment of banana peel liquid organic fertilizer consisting of 5 treatments. The data obtained from each observation variable were analyzed using analysis of variance, if the effect was significant then continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The variables observed were plant length, number of pods per plant, pod weight per plant, number of seeds per pod and pod length. The results of the research application of various concentrations of banana peel POC had a significant effect on all observation variables. Banana peel POC with 90% concentration gave the highest growth and yield based on the research results for plant length, pod weight per plant, number of seeds per plant and pod length.
