Abstract
This research aimed to investigate students' perceptions of using Google Docs in a creative writing course. The study employed a descriptive qualitative research design, collecting data through interviews. Participants included students from the 2019 batch who had completed a creative writing course in their fifth semester. Five students took part in the research, selected through purposive sampling techniques. The research findings showed that for implementing Google Docs in creative writing, students tend to feel pressured and anxious when using it. In addition, students also felt unsatisfactory when using Google Docs because they think there is no privacy in it. Students also face obstacles when they want to use Google Docs, such as a lack of internet connection, and some need to adapt when using it. Besides its weakness, the use of Google Docs in creative writing still has the advantages such as; enhancing students' motivation in the writing process, convenience for students to provide peer review, and also able to boost students' ability in the writing process.
