Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan palm oil mill effluent terhadap mutu biobriket yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan perbandingan komposisi tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan palm oil mill effluent yaitu 80% : 20%, 75% : 25%, 70% : 30%, dan 65% : 35%. Biobriket tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan palm oil mill effluent pada penelitian ini menghasilkan mutu biobriket terbaik didapatkan perlakuan pada rasio 80% TKKS : 20% POME yang menghasilkan biobriket dengan kadar air 7,19%, kadar abu 7,33%, dan zat mudah menguap 14,67%. Kata Kunci : Biobriket, tandan kosong kelapa sawit, limbah cair kelapa sawit, mutu biobriket Abstract - This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of empty palm oil bunches and palm oil mill effluent on the quality of the resulting biobriquettes. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels, the comparison of the composition of empty palm oil bunches and palm oil mill effluent, namely 80% : 20%, 75% : 25%, 70% : 30%, and 65% : 35% . Biobriquettes of empty palm oil bunches and palm oil mill effluent in this study produced the best quality biobriquettes obtained at a ratio of 80% EFB: 20% POME which produced biobriquettes with a moisture content of 7.19%, ash content of 7.33%, and volatile matter 14.67%.
