Abstract
Perbandingan Produksi Dan Biaya Pengangkutan Batubara Menggunakan Metode Konvensional Dan Continous Mining Pada Area Temporary Stockpile Muara Tiga Besar Menuju Stockpile 2 Bulan Maret 2023 Di Pt Bukit Asam Tbk, Tanjung Enim PT Bukit Asam Tbk is one of the BUMN (State Owned Enterprises) companies in Indonesia which is engaged in coal mining which is located on Jalan Paringi, Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra Province. PT Bukit Asam Tbk is an example of a reference standard for doing business in Indonesia, and continues to grow while prioritizing work safety. Coal transfer activities in the Muara Tiga Besar Temporary Stockpile area to Stockpile 2 use two methods, namely the conventional method and the continuous mining method using a combination of tools for each method used. This research was conducted by analyzing the production and operating costs of a conventional method using excavators and dump trucks. Meanwhile, the continuous mining method uses a combination of bucket wheel excavator (BWE) and belt conveyor tools. This research method uses quantitative, by calculating the comparison of production and costs of transporting coal with which method is more efficient to use. Based on the results of data processing obtained by production from each method with a comparison of production income and costs. Using the conventional method, production in March 2023 was 182,113.43 tons at a cost of IDR 5,989,455,875.99. Meanwhile, using the continuous mining method, production in March 2023 was 281,030.91 tons at a cost of IDR 2,151,563,169. From the production results and operating costs, the production costs for transporting coal from the Temporary Stockpile area of Muara Tiga Besar to Stockpile 2 per tonne are obtained by dividing the cost by the production value for each method. Production costs for the conventional method are IDR 32,888/ton. Meanwhile, production costs for the continuous mining method are IDR 7,655/ton. Based on the results obtained, the influencing factors on production and costs are equipment work efficiency factors as well as equipment repair and maintenance which costs a lot of money. But it can be concluded that the continuous mining method is superior, more efficient and more economical than conventional methods. So that the benefits of the results of this study can be used as evaluation material for companies by considering aspects of production and costs that are more economical to use to get big profits.
