Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Beban kerja mental merupakan salah satu faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam dunia industri, salah satunya adalah industri konveksi. Pada industri konveksi, pekerjaan yang dilakukan bersifat monoton dan memiliki target waktu yang ditentukan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan para pekerja mengalami beban kerja mental. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui beban kerja mental yang dirasakan oleh pekerja di Eko Sablon dan Sita Sablon menggunakan metode NASA-TLX dan DRAWS. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei - Juli 2023. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh pekerja di Eko Sablon, Konveksi An-nisa, Sony Taylor, serta Selecta Konveksi Bordir dan Sablon sebanyak 40 responden menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner NASA-TLX dan DRAWS. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS 24. Hasil: Hasil penelitian dengan metode NASA-TLX dan DRAWS, menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental yang dirasakan oleh pekerja masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi. Pada metode NASA-TLX diketahui rata-rata skor beban kerja mental pada pekerja sebesar 75.34, dimana kebutuhan waktu, usaha, dan kebutuhan fisik menjadi indikator tertinggi sebagai penyumbang beban kerja mental. Sedangkan pada metode DRAWS diketahui rata-rata skor beban kerja mental pada pekerja sebesar 69.99, dimana central demand menjadi indikator tertinggi sebagai penyumbang beban kerja mental sebesar 37.04%. Kesimpulan: Beban kerja mental yang dirasakan oleh pekerja konveksi tergolong tinggi, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya perbaikan untuk mengurangi beban kerja mental pada pekerja. In the convection industry, the work done is monotonous and has a specified time target. This can cause workers to experience mental workload. The purpose of this study is to determine the mental workload felt by workers at Eko Sablon and Sita Sablon using the NASA-TLX and DRAWS methods. Methods : This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in May - July 2023. The population in this study were all workers at Eko Sablon, Konveksi An-nisa, Sony Taylor, and Selecta Konveksi Embroidery and Screen Printing as many as 40 respondents using the total sampling technique. The instruments used were NASA-TLX and DRAWS questionnaires. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis with the help of IBM SPSS 24 software. Result : The results of research using the NASA-TLX and DRAWS methods show that the mental workload felt by workers falls into the high category. In the NASA-TLX method, it is known that the average score of mental workload on workers is 75.34, where the need for time, effort, and physical needs is the highest indicator as a contributor to mental workload. While in the DRAWS method, the average score of mental workload on workers is 69.99, where central demand is the highest indicator as a contributor to mental workload of 37.04%. Conclusion : The mental workload felt by convection workers is high, so it is necessary to make improvement efforts to reduce mental workload on workers. Keywords : Mental Workload, NASA-TLX, DRAWS
