Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama 3 bulan mulai dari bulan September sampai November 2022. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yaitu pemberian Pupuk Hayati Cair dan Kompos Limbah lumpur IPAL pabrik karet yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu k0 = 25 mL Feng Shou/1 liter air, k1 = 20 mL Feng Shou/1 liter air + 150 g Kompos Limbah Lumpur IPAL, k2 = 15 mL Feng Shou/1 liter air + 250 g Kompos Limbah Lumpur IPAL, k3 = 10 mL Feng Shou/1 liter air + 350 g Kompos Limbah Lumpur IPAL, dan k4 = 450 g Kompos Limbah Lumpur IPAL. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan dilakukan analisis secara statistik menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA). Jika terlihat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT pada taraf α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan kompos limbah lumpur IPAL pabrik karet dan pupuk hayati feng shou memperlihatkan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seperti ditunjukkan pada variabel tinggi tanaman, pertambahan diameter bonggol, volume akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar, namun memperlihatkan perbedaan yang tidak nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah daun dan nilai rasio tajuk akar. Pemberian kompos limbah lumpur IPAL pabrik karet pada perlakuan 450 g tanpa pupuk hayati dengan ditambahkan 12,5 g atau ½ dosis anjuran pupuk anorganik NPKMg dapat memberikan pertumbuhan yang lebih baik terhadap beberapa variabel pengamatan bibit kelapa sawit pada umur 12 minggu setelah tanam (MST) di pembibitan utama (main nursery) dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. This research was carried out at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University, Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The time for conducting the research was 3 months from September to November 2022. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, namely the administration of Liquid Biological Fertilizer and Rubber Factory WWTP sludge waste compost consisting of 5 treatment levels, namely k0 = 25 mL Feng Shou /1 liter of water, k1 = 20 mL Feng Shou/1 liter of water + 150 g WWTP Mud Waste Compost, k2 = 15 mL Feng Shou/1 liter water + 250 g WWTP Mud Waste Compost, k3 = 10 mL Feng Shou/1 liter water + 350 g WWTP Mud Waste Compost, and k4 = 450 g WWTP Mud Waste Compost. To determine the effect of treatment, statistical analysis was carried out using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the effect of the treatment is visible, continue with the BNT test at the α = 5% level. The results of the research showed that treatment with rubber factory wastewater waste sludge compost and feng shou biofertilizer showed significant differences in the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) as shown in the variables of plant height, increase in tuber diameter, root volume, shoot dry weight and Root dry weight, however, showed no significant difference to the increase in number of leaves and root shoot ratio values. Providing 450 g of rubber factory IPAL waste sludge compost without biological fertilizer added with 12.5 g or ½ the recommended dose of NPKMg inorganic fertilizer can provide better growth for several observation variables of oil palm seedlings at the age of 12 weeks after planting (MST) in main nursery compared to other treatments.
