Abstract

PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal (PT BSPC) merupakan perusahaan pertambangan yang bergerak dibidang tambang batubara yang terletak di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Lokasi penelitian berada pada pit Charlie, dimana dalam melakukan penambangan PT BSPC menerapkan sistem tambang terbuka dengan menggunakan alat gali dan muat yaitu Excavator CAT 330D dan alat angkut Dump Truck Mitsubishi Fuso 220Ps. Penggunaan alat tersebut tidak terlepas dari pemakaian fuel consumption. Berdasarkan laporan bulanan perusahaan, rata-rata fuel consumption aktual alat angkut pada bulan Januari-April 2023 sebesar 14,28 liter/jam, nilai tersebut melebihi standar fuel consumption yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan yakni sebesar 13,5 liter/jam. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi fuel consumption adalah kemiringan jalan. Berdasarkan AASHTO (1993), kemiringan jalan maksimum yang dapat dilalui dengan baik oleh alat angkut yakni 8% atau 4,5º. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan terdapat 4 segmen jalan yang melebihi standar maksimum. Berdasarkan perhitungan, didapatkan grade jalan maksimal mencapai 12,52% dan minimum 0,28% dengan jarak dari loading point pit Charlie menuju dumping point pit Kunci adalah 1,8 km dengan menghabiskan Fuel consumption hauling sebesar 3,08 liter/ritase dan fuel consumption idle sebesar 0,34 liter/ritase sehingga didapatkan fuel consumption dalam satu jam sebesar 13,7 liter/jam untuk 4 ritase dalam satu jam pada bulan Mei. Berdasarkan analisis regresi sederhana, didapatkan hubungan kemiringan jalan terhadap fuel consumption pada saat dump truck bermuatan dengan persamaan Y = 0,0065x + 0,129 dengan pengaruh sebesar 99%. Sedangkan hubungan kemiringan jalan terhadap fuel consumption pada saat dump truck kosong berdasarkan analisis regresi sederhana didapatkan persamaan Y = 0,0019x + 0,0494 dengan pengaruh 99%. Berdasarkan persamaan tersebut diketahui bahwa kemiringan memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap fuel consumption sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan pada grade yang melebihi standar yaitu 8% sehingga dapat menghemat bahan bakar yang dikeluarkan. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada grade yang melebihi standar kemudian dilakukan perhitungan estimasi pemakaian fuel consumption menggunakan persamaan regresi yang telah didapat dan didapatkan estimasi fuel consumption hauling sebesar 2,98 liter/ritase dan fuel consumption idle sebesar 0,34 liter/ritase sehingga didapatkan fuel consumption dalam satu jam sebesar 13,28 liter/jam. Diketahui bahwa setelah dilakukan perbaikan grade, fuel consumption dapat dihemat sebesar 0,4 liter/jam atau 8 liter/hari dan 240 liter/bulan untuk satu unit dump truck. PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal (PT BSPC) is a mining company operating in the coal mining sector located in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research location is in the Charlie pit, where in carrying out mining PT BSPC applies an open mining system using digging and loading equipment, namely a CAT 330D Excavator and Mitsubishi Fuso 220Ps Dump Truck transportation equipment. The use of this tool cannot be separated from fuel consumption. Based on the company's monthly report, the actual average fuel consumption of transportation equipment in January-April 2023 was 14.28 liters/hour, this value exceeds the fuel consumption standard set by the company, namely 13.5 liters/hour. One factor that influences fuel consumption is the slope of the road. Based on AASHTO (1993), the maximum road slope that can be passed properly by transport equipment is 8% or 4.5º. However, the reality on the ground is that there are 4 road segments that exceed the maximum standard. Based on calculations, it was found that the maximum road grade reached 12.52% and the minimum was 0.28% with the distance from loading point pit Charlie to dumping point pit Kunci being 1.8 km with hauling fuel consumption of 3.08 liters/ritage and fuel consumption idle is 0.34 liters/hour so that the fuel consumption in one hour is 13.7 liters/hour for 4 cycles in one hour in May. Based on simple regression analysis, the relationship between road slope and fuel consumption when the dump truck is loaded is obtained with the equation Y = 0.0065x + 0.129 with an influence of 99%. Meanwhile, the relationship between road slope and fuel consumption when the dump truck is empty based on simple regression analysis shows the equation Y = 0.0019x + 0.0494 with an influence of 99%. Based on this equation, it is known that the slope has a big influence on fuel consumption, so improvements need to be made to the grade that exceeds the standard, namely 8%, so that it can save fuel spent. After improvements have been made to the grade that exceeds the standard, the estimated fuel consumption is calculated using the regression equation that has been obtained and the hauling fuel consumption estimate is 2.98 liters/ritage and the idle fuel consumption is 0.34 liters/ritage so that the fuel consumption is obtained in one hour is 13.28 liters/hour. It is known that after grade improvements, fuel consumption can be saved by 0.4 liters/hour or 8 liters/day and 240 liters/month for one dump truck unit.
