Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about adjustments to laws that continue to develop over time. The current law is not relevant enough in handling the prevention of impacts that will occur in the future. regarding constitutional events that have the potential to occur in the future. This triumvirate minister is an important minister in the constitutional system in Indonesia who is in charge of replacing the duties of the presidency if there is a vacancy in a position of power. Even though it is clear that the existence of the Triumvirate minister is recognized constitutionally because it is explained in Article 8 Paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. triumvirate. the government needs to take steps to prevent another power vacuum, such as implementing regulations regarding the authority of triumvirate ministers as substitutes for presidential duties and regulations regarding division of tasks by each of these ministers as a measure to anticipate replacing the President if the President and Vice President and all Triumvirate Ministers die simultaneously. In the event of the death of the President and Vice President, there will be a vacancy in the position, therefore it is necessary to have provisions which regulate in more detail regarding the position and authority of the triumvirate ministers. Of the many regulations and norms currently in effect, there is not the slightest mention of the authority of the minister of the triumvirate when filling the vacant posts of president and vice president.
