Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze legal protection for workers who have experienced work accidents at CV. Nusa Indotama. This is to find out the obstacles in fulfilling the company's obligations to register its workers in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program. The formulation of the problems raised in this thesis is what form of protection is provided to workers who have experienced work accidents who are not registered in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program and what are the obstacles to fulfilling the obligations of Workers who experience work accidents who are not registered in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program. The research method used is juridical empirical. The result of this research is that the company provides protection in the form of a security device to perform work in order to prevent work accidents. However, work accidents still occur. The company provides compensation to workers who have experienced work accidents, but this compensation does not cover medical expenses until some workers recover. The obstacle for companies to enroll their workers into the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program is that, due to the incomplete identity of the workers, the company also objected to incurring additional costs. In addition, the worker constraints are caused by the company not registering their workers, so that workers cannot be registered in the BPJS program. The Manpower Office also checks companies, then provides guidance regarding the company's obligation to register its workers in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program.
