Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian berjudul Analisis Determinan Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Sektor Industri Pengolahan di Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini di bawah bimbingan Dr. Hj. ERNI ACHMAD, S.E., M.Si dan Dra. RAHMA NURJANAH, M.E. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis 1). Menganalisis perkembangan penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan, PDRB industri pengolahan, jumlah unit usaha industri pengolahan, investasi dan indeks pembangunan manusia di Provinsi Jambi, 2). Menganalisis pengaruh PDRB industri pengolahan, jumlah unit usaha industri pengolahan, investasi dan indeks pembangunan manusia terhadp penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri di Provinsi Jambi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder tahun 2008-2021 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jambi dan dinas penanaman modal dan pelayanan terpadu satu pintu Provinsi Jambi. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa 1). Rata-rata perkembangan penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan sebesar 6,39%, sedangkan rata-rata perkembangan PDRB sektor industri pengolahan sebesar 12,49%, sementara rata-rata perkembangan jumlah unit usaha sebesar 4,51%, untuk rata-rata perkembangan investasi sebesar 11,98%, dan rata-rata indeks pembangunan manusia sebesar 0,056%, 2). PDRB sektor industri pengolahan dan indeks pembangunan manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan di Provinsi Jambi, sementara jumlah unit usaha dan investasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan di Provinsi Jambi. Kata Kunci : Penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan, PDRB sektor industri pengolahan, jumlah unit usaha, investasi dan indeks pembangunan manusia ABSTRACT The research is entitled Analysis of Determinants of Labor Absorption in the Processing Industry Sector in Jambi Province. This research was under the guidance of Dr. Hj. ERNI ACHMAD, S.E., M.Si and Dra. RAHMA NURJANAH, M.E. The aim of this research is to analyze 1). Analyzing the development of labor absorption in the processing industry sector, GRDP of the processing industry, number of processing industry business units, investment and human development index in Jambi Province, 2). Analyzing the influence of the GRDP of the processing industry, the number of processing industry business units, investment and the human development index on labor absorption in the industrial sector in Jambi Province. The type of data used in this research is secondary data for 2008-2021 obtained from the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency and the Jambi Province one-stop investment and integrated services service. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The analysis results show that 1). The average development of labor absorption in the manufacturing industry sector is 6.39%, while the average development of GRDP in the processing industry sector is 12.49%, while the average development of the number of business units is 4.51%, for the average development investment was 11.98%, and the average human development index was 0.056%, 2). GRDP in the processing industry sector and human development index have a positive and significant effect on employment in the processing industry sector in Jambi Province, while the number of business units and investment do not have a significant effect on employment in the processing industry sector in Jambi Province.
