Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bahan ajar LKPD yang digunakan sebagai penunjang kegiatan belajar belum memenuhi kriteria abad 21 dan belum mampu mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. LKPD belum berbasis pemecahan masalah dan memanfaatkan media elektronik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan LKPD elektronik pada materi sistem pernafasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Riset and Development (R&D), menggunakan desain Lee & Owens terdiri dari tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data berupa kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menyatakan E-LKPD sangat valid dengan validitas berturut-turut sebesar 88,33% dan 95,58% dengan kategori layak digunakan. Berdasarkan Hasil penilaian guru diperoleh kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 89,33% dalam kategori sangat baik dan layak secara praktik. Hasil angket respon peserta didik uji coba satu-satu sebesar 92% dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasi uji coba dalam kelompok kecil menunjukan persentase 94,66% dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga ELKPD baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Keefektifan E-LKPD setelah diterapkan menunjukan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat dengan diperoleh skor N-Gain 0,56 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Kesimpulan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran sebagai upaya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA, khususnya materi sistem pernafasan. This development research was motivated by the fact that the LKPD teaching materials used to support learning activities did not meet 21st century criteria and were not able to hone students' critical thinking skills. LKPD is not yet based on problem solving and utilizes electronic media. This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of electronic LKPD on respiratory system material. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research, using a Lee & Owens design consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques are quantitative and qualitative. The validation results by material experts and media experts stated that E-LKPD was very valid with validity of 88.33% and 95.58% respectively with the category suitable for use. Based on the teacher assessment results, the category was very good with a percentage of 89.33% in the category very good and feasible in practice. The results of the one-on-one trial student response questionnaire were 92% in the very good category. The results of trials in small groups showed a percentage of 94.66% in the very good category so that ELKPD is good for use in learning. The effectiveness of E-LKPD after being implemented shows that students' critical thinking abilities have increased with an N-Gain score of 0.56 which is included in the medium category. The conclusion is that E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning can be used as a learning medium to improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning, especially material on the respiratory system.
