Abstract
Jahe (Zingiber officinale) merupakan salah satu tanaman biofarmaka yang digunakan sebagai rempah-rempah dan bahan obat-obatan. Selama adanya pandemi Covid-19, minat masyarakat terhadap budidaya tanaman obat-obatan terutama jahe merah mengalami peningkatan. Budidaya tanaman jahe merah seringkali menghadapi berbagai kendala diantaranya karena teknik budidaya yang kurang produktif serta serangan hama dan penyakit. Penyakit penting pada tanaman jahe diantaranya adalah bercak daun (Phyllosticta zingiberi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formula biopestisida berbahan aktif Bacillus spp. dan Trichoderma sp. yang efektif untuk mengendalikan serangan P. zingiberi pada tanaman jahe merah. Variabel pengamatan meliputi periode inkubasi penyakit, keparahan penyakit dan pertumbuhan tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi biopestisida mampu memperlambat periode inkubasi dan menekan intensitas penyakit bercak daun pada tanaman jahe merah, serta berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman jahe merah. Perlakuan formula D yang mengandung Trichoderma sp. dan Bacillus spp. PBC32 menunjukkan penekanan intensitas penyakit tertinggi 47,40%. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a biopharmaceutical plant that is used as a spice and medicinal ingredient. During the Covid-19 pandemic, public interest in cultivating medicinal plants, especially red ginger, has increased. Red ginger cultivation often faces various obstacles, including unproductive cultivation techniques and pest and disease attacks. Important diseases in ginger plants include leaf spot (Phyllosticta zingiberi). This research aims to obtain a biopesticide formula containing the active ingredient Bacillus spp. and Trichoderma sp. which is effective for controlling P. zingiberi attacks on red ginger plants. Observation variables include disease incubation period, disease severity and plant growth. The research results showed that the application of biopesticide was able to slow down the incubation period and reduce the intensity of leaf spot disease on red ginger plants, as well as affecting the height growth of red ginger plants. Formula D treatment containing Trichoderma sp. and Bacillus spp. PBC32 showed the highest disease intensity suppression of 47.40%.
