Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kebijakan larangan merokok di Indonesia belum sepenuhnya dipatuhi oleh masyarakat, salah satunya yaitu kebijakan larangan merokok di sekolah. Perilaku merokok disekolah dipengaruhi beberapa faktor seperti pengetahuan, pengaruh lingkungan, pengalaman, dan perepsi. Salah satu faktor kurangnya kepatuhan pada kebijakan larangan merokok di sekolah yaitu persepsi mengenai larangan merokok. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 43 orang yang terdiri dari 13 orang informan wawancara mendalam yaitu 5 peserta didik, 1 orang kepala sekolah, 1 orang guru bimbingan konseling, 6 orang tua peserta didik dan 3 kelompok Focus Group Discussion (FGD) masing-masing 10 orang peserta didik. Hasil: Tingkat pengetahuan peserta didik berbeda-beda sesuai dengan usia, usia 14-15 tahun memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih dibandingkan usia 12-14 tahun. Dari segi informasi dan aturan sosial sudah berjalan dengan cukup baik. Dari segi pengalaman menunjukan peserta didik baru mengetahui adanya larangan merokok di lingkungan sekolah saat pertama kali masuk SMP, memiliki rasa penasaran dan nikmat saat mengkonsumsi rokok. Lingkungan peserta didik menunjukan bahwa orang tua dan teman peserta didik sangat mempengaruhi. Kesimpulan: Persepsi peserta didik mengenai larangan merokok sudah cukup baik namun masi terdapat peserta didik yang kurang patuh terhadap kebijakan yang telah di terapkan oleh pihak sekolah karena faktor lingkungan orangtua yang sering merokok didepan anak, dan teman sebaya yang menjadi teman peserta didik untuk merokok bersama. Background: The public has not fully complied with the smoking ban policy in Indonesia, one of which is the policy of banning smoking in schools. Smoking behavior at school is influenced by several factors such as knowledge, environmental influences, experience and perception. One factor in the lack of compliance with the no-smoking policy in schools is the perception of the ban on smoking. Method: This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were 43 people consisting of 13 in-depth interview informants, namely 5 students, 1 school principal, 1 guidance and counseling teacher, 6 parents of students and 3 Focus Group Discussion (FGD) groups of 10 participants each educate. Results: The level of knowledge of students varies according to age, 14-15 year olds have more knowledge than 12-14 year olds. In terms of information and social regulations, things have gone quite well. In terms of experience, it shows that students only learn that there is a smoking ban in the school environment when they first enter junior high school, they have a sense of curiosity and enjoyment when consuming cigarettes. The student's environment shows that the student's parents and friends are very influential. Conclusion: Students' perceptions regarding the smoking ban are quite good, but there are still students who do not comply with the policies that have been implemented by the school due to environmental factors, parents who often smoke in front of their children, and peers who are friends with whom students smoke together.
