Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan perkembangan volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, (2) menganalisis pengaruh GDP Indonesia, GDP negara tujuan utama, jarak ekonomi, nilai tukar, harga ekspor dan populasi negara tujuan utama terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari BPS, UN Comtrade, World Bank dan sumber lain yang terkait. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi data panel (pooled data) dengan pendekatan gravity model. Data panel yang digunakan yaitu gabungan dari data cross section delapan negara tujuan utama (China, India, Pakistan, Amerika Serikat, Bangladesh, Mesir, Spanyol, dan Italia) dan data time series dalam rentang tahun 2002-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perkembangan volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama, GDP Indonesia, GDP negara tujuan utama, jarak ekonomi, harga ekspor dan populasi negara tujuan utama berfluktuasi cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnya. Sedangkan perkembangan nilai tukar terhadap negara China mengalami penurunan dan nilai tukar terhadap India, Pakistan, Amerika Serikat, Bangladesh, Mesir, Spanyol dan Italia mengalami peningkatan. (2) Berdasarkan hasil regresi data panel diketahui bahwa GDP Indonesia, nilai tukar dan populasi negara tujuan utama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama. Sedangkan harga ekspor berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, sementara GDP negara tujuan utama dan jarak ekonomi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama. This research aims to: (1) describe the development of Indonesia's CPO export volume to the main destination countries and the factors that influence it, (2) analyze the influence of Indonesia's GDP, GDP of the main destination countries, economic distance, exchange rates, export prices and population of the destination countries The main impact on the volume of Indonesian CPO exports to the main destination countries. This research uses secondary data obtained from BPS, UN Comtrade, World Bank and other related sources. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and panel data regression analysis (pooled data) with a gravity model approach. The panel data used is a combination of cross section data from eight main destination countries (China, India, Pakistan, United States, Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain and Italy) and time series data in the period 2002-2021. The research results show that (1) the development of Indonesia's CPO export volume to the main destination countries, Indonesia's GDP, GDP of the main destination countries, economic distance, export prices and the population of the main destination countries fluctuate, tending to increase every year. Meanwhile, the exchange rate towards China experienced a decline and the exchange rate against India, Pakistan, the United States, Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain and Italy increased. (2) Based on panel data regression results, it is known that Indonesia's GDP, exchange rate and population of the main destination country have a positive and significant effect on the volume of Indonesian CPO exports to the main destination country. Meanwhile, export prices have a negative and significant effect, while the GDP of the main destination country and economic distance do not have a significant effect on the volume of Indonesian CPO exports to the main destination country.
