Abstract
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the role of the Government's Internal Auditor and the Code of Ethics for the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) on the Implementation of Good Governance at the Jambi Provincial Inspectorate. The survey was conducted against Jambi Province Inspectorate’s Internal Auditors, namely the JFA auditors (Functional Auditor Position) and PPUPD (Functional Officials for Supervision of the Implementation of Regional Government Affairs) using the total/census sampling method. The form of records used is primary data. Distribute questionnaires to 67 auditors at the Jambi Provincial Inspectorate Office. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the role of the Government Internal Auditor partially positive and significant effect on the implementation of good governance, the code of ethics for the government internal supervisory apparatus (APIP) partially positive and significant effect on the implementation of good governance. Governance, and the Role of the Government's Internal Auditor and the Code of Ethics for the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) have a simultaneous effect on the Implementation of Good Governance.
