Abstract
ABSTRAK Usaha pertanian pada Ultisol memiliki beberapa permasalahan seperti pH rendah yang mengakibatkan kandungan Al, Fe, dan Mn tinggi sehingga meracuni tanaman, ketersediaan unsur hara makro yang rendah sehingga perlu dilakukan penambahan unsur hara makro. Masalah kurangnya unsur hara makro N, P, dan K pada Ultisol perlu ditingkatkan. Peningkatan produktivitas Ultisol perlu dilakukan, untuk memperbaiki karakteristik tanah dan meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dapat dilakukan dengan cara melalui perbaikan tanah (ameliorasi), pemupukan, dan penambahan bahan organik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 24 petak percobaan. Adapun perlakuan digunakan yaitu P0 = Kontrol, P1 = POC Batang Pisang 7.288 L ha-1, P2 = POC Batang Pisang 10.413 L ha-1, P3 = POC Batang Pisang 13.383 L ha-1, P4 = POC Batang Pisang 16.663 L ha-1 dan P5 = POC Batang Pisang 19.788 L ha-1. Variabel yang diamati berupa pH tanah, C-Organik, Al-dd, N-total, P-tersedia, K-tersedia, Tinggi tanaman dan hasil produksi tanaman. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pemberian pupuk organik cair batang pisang mampu meningkatkan pH tanah namun belum mampu meningkatkan C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia, dan K-tersedia serta menurunkan Al-dd pada Ultisol. Pemberian pupuk organik cair batang pisang dengan dosis 19.788 L ha-1 merupakan dosis terbaik dan dosis 7.288 L ha-1 sudah memberikan pengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan hasil kedelai pada ultisol. This research used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments used are: P0: Control (No Treatment), P1: LOF banana stem 7.288 L ha-1, P2: LOF banana stem 10.413 L ha-1, P3: LOF banana stem 13.383 L ha-1, P4: LOF banana stem 16.663 L ha-1, P5: LOF banana stem 19.788 L ha-1. The variables observed were soil pH, C-Organic, Al-dd, N-total, P-available, K-available, plant height and crop production results. The research results showed that applying liquid organic fertilizer from banana stems was able to increase soil pH but was not able to increase organic C, total N, available P and available K as well as reducing Al-dd in Ultisol. Providing banana stem liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 19,788 L ha-1 is the best dose and a dose of 7,288 L ha-1 has had a real effect in increasing soybean yields on ultisol.
