Abstract

Language is a remarkable gift for human. The only thing that can dif-ferentiate human from other creature is the ability to communicate through speech. Chimpanzees are known for being the closest relatives to humans genetically, sharing over 99% of our DNA. There has been considerable research on this race, and the fact that their vocal anato-my are quite similar to human indicates probability of speech. On the contrary, human brains develop the innate ability for language and speech while chimp’s not. Human ability to perceive and process speech starting at 6 weeks along with their biological growth. Keywords: biological grounding, language
