Abstract

Kecamatan Kayuaro merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang mengusahakan bawang merah, Kecamatan Kayuaro menjadi sentra penghasil bawang merah dan daerah ini memiliki potensi dalam mengembangkan dan memperkenalkan komoditas bawangnya. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) ndeskripsikan gambaran usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Kayu Aro Kabupaten Kerinci, 2) Menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi luas panen, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja terhadap produksi usahatani bawang merah di Kecamatan Kayu Aro Kabupaten Kerinci Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu petani yanh mengusahakan usahatani bawang merah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Kegiatan usahatani di daerah penelitian meliputi : kegiatan pengolahan lahan panen, pemasangan mulsa, pembibitan, penanaman, pemeliharaan, pengendalian hama dan penyakit, dan panen. Luas lahan rata – rata di daerah penelitian yaitu sebesar 1,48 ha, dengan luas lahan terkecil 1,1 ha yang terluas 2,5 ha. Kepemilikan lahan di daerah penelitian umumnya milik sendiri. Varietas bawang yang biasa digunakan yaitu varietas Brebes. Produksi rata-rata/petani yaitu sebesar 689,61 dengan produksi tertinggi 2000 kg/panen produksi terendah 300 kg/panen. 2) Faktor – faktor produksi seperti luas panen, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja secara bersama - sama berpengaruh positif dan dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan produksi usahatani bawang merah. Kata Kunci : Faktor Produksi, Produksi Bawang Merah, Hortikultura Kayuaro District is one of the sub-districts that produces shallots. Kayuaro District is a center for producing shallots and this area has the potential to develop and introduce its onion commodities. Therefore, this research aims to (1) describe the description of shallot farming in Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency, 2) Analyze the influence of production factors such as harvest area, fertilizer, pesticides and labor on the production of shallot farming in Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency. This research using primary and secondary data with quantitative descriptive methods. The respondents in this study were farmers who cultivated shallot farming. The results of this research show (1) Farming activities in the research area include: harvesting land processing activities, installing mulch, seeding, planting, maintenance, pest and disease control, and harvesting. The average land area in the research area is 1.48 ha, with the smallest land area being 1.1 ha and the largest being 2.5 ha. Land ownership in the research area is generally owned by oneself. The onion variety commonly used is the Brebes variety. Average production/farmer is 689.61 with the highest production being 2000 kg/harvest, the lowest production being 300 kg/harvest. 2) Production factors such as harvest area, fertilizer, pesticides and labor together have a positive and significant effect on increasing shallot farming production.
