Abstract

RINGKASAN Ditinjau dari segi luasnya, Ultisol memiliki potensi yang sangat besar jika dimanfaatkan dalam penanaman tanaman pangan akan tetapi, dalam pengelolaannya Ultisol menghadapi berbagai kendala yaitu memiliki sifat fisik tanah yang kurang baik dan sangat peka terhadap erosi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian bokashi kotoran sapi terhadap beberapa sifat fisika Ultisol dan hasil kedelai (Glycine max (L.) merril.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 24 petakan percobaan. Ukuran petakan 3 m x 2 m, dengan jarak tanam 30 cm x 25 cm sehingga didapatkan 80 tanaman perpetakan. Adapun perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu B0 (tanpa pemberian), B1 (5 ton/ha Bokashi kotoran sapi), B2 (10 ton/ha Bokashi kotoran sapi), B3 (15 ton/ha Bokashi kotoran sapi), B4 (20 ton/ha Bokashi kotoran sapi), B5 (25 ton/ha Bokashi kotoran sapi). Parameter yang diamati adalah Bahan organik, Bobot Volume tanah, Total Ruang pori tanah, kadar air tanah, agregat terbentuk, tinggi tanaman dan hasil tanaman. Data yang diambil kemudian dianalisis sidik ragam pada taraf kepercayaan 95 % selanjutnya uji jarak berganda Duncan. Pemberian bokashi kotoran sapi yang diberikan belum mampu meningkatkan beberapa sifat fisik Ultisol dan hasil kedelai. Kata kunci : Bokashi, Sifat Fisika, Kedelai ABSTRACT Viewed from a broad perspective, Ultisol has enormous potential if used in growing food crops, however, in its management Ultisol faces various obstacles, namely having poor physical soil properties and being very sensitive to erosion. The aim of this research was to determine and study the effect of giving cow dung bokashi on several physical properties of Ultisol and soybean yield (Glycine max (L.) merril.). This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 replications so that there were 24 experimental plots. The size of the plot is 3 m x 2 m, with a planting distance of 30 cm The treatments used in this research were B0 (without administration), B1 (5 tons/ha Bokashi cow dung), B2 (10 tons/ha Bokashi cow dung), B3 (15 tons/ha Bokashi cow dung), B4 (20 tons/ha Bokashi cow dung). ton/ha Bokashi cow dung), B5 (25 tons/ha Bokashi cow dung). The parameters observed were organic matter, soil volume weight, total soil pore space, soil water content, aggregates formed, plant height and plant yield. The data taken was then analyzed for variance at a confidence level of 95%, followed by Duncan's multiple range test.
