Abstract
Background: Head trauma have the highest cases found in neurology department and be the 3rd place in causes of mortality with percentage 30,5%. Global incidences of head trauma happened in 939 of 100.000 individuals, which means 69 million people suffer head trauma every year. The main causes of head trauma are traffic accident (TA), fall, or other causes. Aim: To obtain an overview of head trauma at RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi between 2022-2023. Result: The results showed there were 121 samples of head trauma. Results showed patients had the highest distribution in adult or 36-64 years old group (39,7%) and male gender (69,4%), the most common cause was traffic accident (75,2%), with the highest degree of severity was mild head trauma (73,6%), the most common of CT-Scan results were normal (57,9%), and the most common outcomes were good recovery (66,1%). Conclusion: Head trauma at RSUD Raden Mattaher between 2022-2023 had most common patients were in 36-64 years old group and were dominated by male. The most common cause was traffic accident (TA), the most common degree of severity was mild head trauma, majority of CT-Scan result was normal, and the most common outcome was good recovery.
