Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan besar rugi daya pada Penyulang Kelapa Rayon Telanaipura PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Jambi dengan perhitungan dan simulasi mengggunakan software ETAP 19.0.1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif melalui pengumpulan data dimana data yang disajikan berupa angka atau numerik. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi untuk memastikan data yang diperlukan ada di PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, berdasarkan perhitungan rata – rata rugi daya Penyulang Kelapa setiap bulannya yaitu sebesar 1.529,26 Kw atau 556.229,2 Kwh. Perbandingan rugi daya antara perhitungan dan simulasi software ETAP 19.0.1 dengan metode Newton Rhapson yaitu dari hasil perhitungan sebesar 1.027,65 Kw dan simulasi software ETAP 19.0.1. sebesar 1.016,2 Kw. Penyebab terjadinya rugi daya berdasarkan perhitungan dipengaruhi oleh besar nilai beban dan faktor penghantar yaitu tahanan penampang, ukuran penampang, impedansi penghantar, dan panjang penghantar tersebut. Penyebab terjadinya rugi daya dengan simulasi software ETAP 19.0.1 dipengaruhi oleh kapasitas nominal busbar, parameter kabel, dan parameter trafo (kapasitas trafo distribusi, impedansi trafo, dan lumped load). Kata Kunci: Rugi daya, Perhitungan, Software ETAP 19.0.1. This research aims to determine and obtain the amount of power loss at PT. Telanaipura Rayon Coconut Feeder. PLN (Persero) UP3 Jambi with calculations and simulations using ETAP 19.0.1 software. The research method used is quantitative through data collection where the data presented is in the form of numbers or numeric. Data collection in this research was carried out by observation to ensure that the required data was available at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Jambi. The research results show that, based on calculations, the average power loss of the Coconut Feeder each month is 1,529.26 Kw or 556,229.2 Kwh. Comparison of power losses between ETAP 19.0.1 software calculations and simulations with the Newton Rhapson method, namely from the calculation results of 1,027.65 Kw and ETAP 19.0.1 software simulations. amounting to 1,016.2 Kw. The cause of power loss based on calculations is influenced by the load value and conductor factors, namely cross-sectional resistance, cross-sectional size, conductor impedance, and conductor length. The causes of power loss using ETAP 19.0.1 software simulation are influenced by the nominal capacity of the busbar, cable parameters, and transformer parameters (distribution transformer capacity, transformer impedance, and lumped load).
