Abstract

Dalam 10 tahun terakhir hutan disekililing danau belibis banyak mengalami perubahan menjadi lahan pertanian. Hal ini mengakibatkan perubahan fungsi ekologis dan hutan tidak dapat meningkatkan stabilitas tanah sehingga tidak mampu menurangi kecepatan air yang mengakibatkan erosi dan banjir.mengingat keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi dan posisi strates pada tingkat nasional maupun internasioan, maka memepelajarikeanegaragaman jenis pohon dalam suatu vegetasi diangap penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis pohon di hutan pegunungan tengah Danau Belibis Resort Kerinci Utara TNKS. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di hutan pegunungan tengah Danau belibis Resort Kerinci Utara TNKS selama 2 bulan. Metode Pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu sistematik sampling. Terdapat 4 titik petak tunggal 50m x 150m dimana setiap petak terdapat sub petak 10m x10m sebanyak 75 subpetak. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di Hutan Pegunungan Tengah Danau Belibis Resort Kerinci Utara Balai Besar Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat pada stadia tiang ditemukan 48 jenis pohon dengan total 148 induvidu dan didominasi oleh Schima wallicii Choisy. sedangkan pada tingkat stadia pohon ditemukan 71 jenis pohon dengan total 798 induvidu dan didominasi oleh Lhitocarpus sp. Nilai indeks keanekaragamn stadia tiang 3,45 dan stadia pohon 3,85. In the last 10 years, many forests around Grouse Lake have been converted into agricultural land. This results in changes in ecological function and forests are unable to increase soil stability so they are unable to reduce the speed of water which causes erosion and flooding. Considering the high biodiversity and position of strata at the national and international level, studying the diversity of tree species in vegetation is considered important. This research aims to determine the diversity of tree species in the central mountain forest of Danau Belibis Resort, North Kerinci TNKS. This research will be carried out in the central mountain forest of Danau Belibis Resort North Kerinci TNKS for 2 months. The data collection method used is systematic sampling. There are 4 single plot points 50m x 150m where each plot has 75 sub plots of 10m x 10m. Based on research conducted in the Central Mountain Forest of Danau Belibis Resort, North Kerinci, Kerinci Seblat National Park Hall, at the pole stage, 48 tree species were found with a total of 148 individuals and were dominated by Schima wallicii Choisy. Meanwhile, at the tree stage level, 71 tree species were found with a total of 798 individuals and were dominated by Lhitocarpus sp. The diversity index value for the pole stage is 3.45 and the tree stage is 3.85.
