Abstract

Abstrak. Pakcoy tergolong kedalam komoditas hortikultura yang banyak dibudidayakan petani. Budidaya pakcoy umumnya dilakukan dilahan terbuka yang memerlukan areal lahan yang cukup luas. Alih fungsi lahan pertanian yang marak terjadi mengakibatkan semakin terbatasnya areal pertanian yang dapat digunakan. Teknik budidaya hidroponik dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi keterbatasan lahan. Dalam budidaya hidroponik pemberian nutrisi dilakukan dengan pemberian larutan hara AB Mix. Namun ketersediaan hara AB Mix masih cukup sulit untuk didapatkan dipasaran dan memiki harga jual yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pencampuran pupuk organik cair (POC) batang semu pisang dalam nutrisi hidroponik serta untuk mendapatkan komposisi paling efektif untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi pakcoy. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bioteknologi Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jambi, selama 1,5 bulan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yaitu komposisi pencampuran larutan AB Mix dan POC batang semu pisang yang terdiri atas P0= 100%+0%, P2= 80%+20%, P3= 60%+40%, P4= 40%+60%, dan P5= 0%+100%. Penanaman dilakukan didalam instalasi hidroponik wick yang mana setiap satu box hidroponik berisi satu larutan nutrisi perlakuan sehingga terdapat 6 box hidroponik. Ulangan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali sehingga akan terdapat 24 satuan percobaan. Ulangan dilakukan langsung pada box hidroponik sehingga akan terdapat 12 tanaman untuk setiap box hidroponik.Variabel yang diamati yaitu panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah helai daun, berat segar tajuk, berat kering tajuk, dan panjang akar. Hasil penelitaian yang diperoleh akan dianalisi dengan sidik ragam (ANOVA), apabila perlakuan menunjukan perbedaan nyata maka dilanjutkan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan kontrol P0= 100% AB Mix masih memberikan rata-rata hasil tertinggi pada semua variabel yang diamati, tetapi setelah dilakukan uji lanjut (DMRT) perlakuan P1 =80% AB Mix + POC 20% dapat memberikan pengaruh yang sama baiknya dengan perlakuan kotrol pada seluruh variabel pengamatan. ABstarct. Pakcoy is classified as a horticultural commodity that is widely cultivated by farmers. Pakcoy cultivation is generally carried out on open land which requires a large area of land. The rampant conversion of agricultural land has resulted in increasingly limited agricultural areas that can be used. Hydroponic cultivation techniques can be a solution to overcome land limitations. In hydroponic cultivation, nutrition is provided by giving AB Mix nutrient solution. However, the availability of AB Mix nutrients is still quite difficult to obtain in the market and has a fairly high selling price. This study aims to test the mixing of banana stem liquid organic fertilizer (POC) in hydroponic nutrition and to get the most effective composition for the growth and production of pakcoy mustard plants. The research was conducted at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University, for 1.5 months using a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD), namely the composition of mixing AB Mix solution and banana stem POC consisting of P0 = 100% + 0%, P2 = 80% + 20%, P3 = 60% + 40%, P4 = 40% + 60%, and P5 = 0% + 100%. Planting was done in a wick hydroponic installation where each hydroponic box contained one treatment nutrient solution so that there were 6 hydroponic boxes. Repetitions were carried out 4 times so that there would be 24 experimental units. The observed variables are leaf length, leaf width, number of leaflets, crown fresh weight, crown dry weight, and root length. The results of the research obtained will be analyzed with variance analysis (ANOVA), if the treatment shows a significant difference then continued the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the control treatment P0 = 100% AB Mix still gave the highest average results on all observed variables, but after further testing (DMRT) treatment P1 = 80% AB Mix + 20% POC could give the same good effect as the control treatment on all observation variables.
