Abstract

Air berfungsi sebagai pelarut universal, sehingga perannya sangat penting dalam metabolisme tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air minum isi ulang sesuai dengann persyaratan wajib air minum yang tertuang dalam Permenkes No. 2 Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengann menggunakan hasil pengujian di laboratorium untuk mendapatkan gambaran kualitas air minum isi ulang. Sampel yang diuji sebanyak 18 sampel dengann teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian fisik yang meliputi bau, aroma, warna, dan kekeruhan, 18 sampel air minum isi ulang memenuhi persyaratan sesuai aturan yang berlaku. Untuk kualitas air minum secara kimia menunjukkan adanya parameter yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan yaitu pH dimana hasil pengukuran pH sampel berkisar antara 6,03-7,58 dengann baku mutu yang disyaratkan sebesar 6,5-8,5. Sedangkan parameter kimia lainnya seperti kadar nitrit, nitrat, dan fluorida memenuhi persyaratan yang ditetapkan. Hasil pengujian mikrobiologi menunjukkan bahwa 18 sampel air minum mengandung bakteri Coliform dengann kisaran 19-97 koloni per 100 mL sampel dan 2 dari 18 sampel (11%) positif Coliform juga positif Escherichia coli. Kata Kunci : Air Minum, Depot Air Minum Isi Ulang, Kualitas Air Minum. ABSTRACT - Water functions as a universal solvent, making its role crucial in the body's metabolism. This research aims to determine the quality of refill drinking water in accordance with the mandatory drinking water requirements outlined in Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 2 of 2023. The study is a quantitative descriptive research that utilizes laboratory testing to provide an overview of the quality of refill drinking water. Eighteen samples were tested using purposive sampling as the sampling technique. Based on the results of physical testing, including odor, aroma, color, and turbidity, all 18 samples of refill drinking water met the requirements according to the applicable regulations. However, concerning the chemical quality of the drinking water, there was a parameter that did not meet the requirements, namely pH. The pH measurements of the samples ranged from 6.03 to 7.58, while the standard requires it to be between 6.5 and 8.5. On the other hand, other chemical parameters such as nitrite, nitrate, and fluoride met the specified requirements. Microbiological testing results showed that all 18 samples of drinking water contained Coliform bacteria, with a range of 19 to 97 colonies per 100 mL of the sample. Additionally, 2 out of 18 samples (11%) tested positive for Coliform and Escherichia coli. Keywords: Drinking Water, Refill Drinking Water Depot, Drinking Water Quality.
