Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan volume ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat dan menganalisis pengaruh produksi karet alam domestik, harga ekspor, harga karet sintetis, nilai tukar, produksi ban di Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari website resmi United Nation Commodity Trade, Food And Agriculture Organization, Direktorat Jendral Perkebunan, Indexbox Tyres USA. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan metode analisis Partial Adjustment Model (PAM). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perkembangan volume ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat mengalami fluktuasi cenderung menurun. Sedangkan perkembangan faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat yaitu produksi karet alam domestik cenderung meningkat, harga ekspor karet alam dan harga karet sintetis mengalami fluktuasi cenderung meningkat, nilai tukar nominal juga mengalami peningkatan, produksi ban di Amerika Serikat mengalami penurunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) didapatkan bahwa produksi karet alam domestik, harga ekspor karet alam, nilai tukar nominal, dan produksi ban di Amerika Serikat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Sementara harga karet sintetis berpengaruh negatif. This study aims to describe the development of Indonesia's natural rubber export volume to the United States and analyze the effect of domestic natural rubber production, export prices, synthetic rubber prices, exchange rates, tire production in the United States. This study used secondary data obtained from the official website of the United Nations Commodity Trade, Food And Agriculture Organization, Directorate General of Plantations, Indexbox Tyres USA. The analysis methods used are the descriptive method and the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) analysis method. The results showed that the development of Indonesia's natural rubber export volume to the United States fluctuated downward. While the development of factors that allegedly affect Indonesia's natural rubber exports to the United States, namely domestic natural rubber production tends to increase, natural rubber export prices and synthetic rubber prices fluctuate tend to increase, nominal exchange rates has also increased, tire production in the United States has decreased. Based on the results of the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) analysis, it was found that domestic natural rubber production, natural rubber export prices, nominal exchange rates, and tire production in the United States had a significant effect on the volume of Indonesian natural rubber exports to the United States. Meanwhile, the price of synthetic rubber has a negative effect.
