Abstract
Taksonomi hewan penting untuk dipelajari sebagai dasar dalam mengelompokan hewan dalam kriteria tertentu. Pembelajaran saat ini cenderung mengarah pada kemajuan dalam bidang teknologi informasi. Peneliti berupaya menjawab permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan penuntun praktikum berbasis virtual dengan fitur materi praktikum, video pembelajaran, pre test, dan post test. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan berupa Penelitian R&D dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen penelitian yang akan digunakan yaitu hasil angket, observasi serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran penuntun praktikum virtual berbasis android. Subjek penelitian yakni mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Jambi angkatan 2020. Ujicoba dlakukan sebanyak dua kali, yakni kepada 6 orang mahasiswa (kelompok kecil) dan 30 orang mahasiswa (kelompok besar). Persentase kualitas produk pada validasi materi yakni sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat baik. Persentase kualitas produk pada validasi media yakni sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penilaian dari dosen pengampu mata kuliah yakni sebesar 80% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil yakni sebesar 91, 67% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar yakni sebesar 87, 75% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun praktikum virtual taksonomi hewan materi amphibia layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah praktikum taksonomi hewan. Animal taxonomy is important to study as a basis for grouping animals according to certain criteria. Current learning tends to lead to advances in the field of information technology. Researchers are trying to answer this problem by developing a virtual-based practicum guide with practicum material, learning videos, pre-test and post-test features. The research that will be carried out is in the form of R&D research using the ADDIE model. The research instruments that will be used are the results of questionnaires, observations and documentation. This research was carried out by developing Android-based virtual practicum guide learning media. The research subjects were Jambi University Biology Education students class of 2020. The test was carried out twice, namely on 6 students (small group) and 30 students (large group). The percentage of product quality in material validation is 85% in the very good category. The percentage of product quality in media validation is 89% in the very good category. The assessment results from the course lecturers were 80% in the very good category. The results of the small group trial were 91.67% in the very good category. The results of the large group trial were 87.75% in the very good category. Based on the data analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the animal taxonomy virtual practicum guide on amphibians is suitable for use in the learning process for the animal taxonomy practicum course.
