Abstract

Berdasarkan data BPS (Badan Pusat Statistika) pada tahun 2018 TPT (Tingkat Pengangguran terbuka) menemukan sebanyak 8,92% pengangguran merupakan lulusan SMK. Hal ini merupakan tertinggi dari semua tingkat pendidikan Disisi lain, SMK merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang memfasilitasi berbagai keminatan siswa dan mempersiapkan siswa agar siap terjun ke dunia kerja. Terdapat berbagai faktor penyebab, salah satunya adalah kebingungan siswa dalam menentukan keminatannya. Keminatan memiliki hubungan dengan kepribadian, dalam hal ini tipe-tipe kepribadian John Holland yaitu RIASEC (realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, dan conventional) dapat menjadi pilihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dalam bentuk persentase masing-masing tipe kepribadian setiap siswa kelas X jurusan TITL (Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik) di SMK N 9 MUARO JAMBI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Mempertimbangkan jumlah populasi, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel non probability sampling/total sampling. sehingga semua populasi penelitian ini dijadikan sampel yaitu berjumlah 30 responden. Responden dibagian angket skala likert sebanyak 59 item (11 item negatif dan 48 item positif) untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadian masing-masing responden. Hasil jawaban responden selanjutkan diolah menggunakan formula persentase. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penulisan berupa pengisian angket skla likert yang dilakukan penulis kepada 30 responden di kelas X jurusan TITL SMK N 9 MUARO JAMBI terdapat 37% siswa berkepribadian realistic, 3% berkepribadian investigative, 17% artistic, 23% social, dan kepribadian enterprising dan conventional masing-masing sebesar 10%. Hal tersebut menandakan responden memiliki tipe kepribadian yang hampir merata dengan perbandingan per-tipe kepribadian yang relatf tidak jauh (tipe kepribadian yang dominan tidak melebihin 50%). Jurusan TITL merupakan jurusan yang menuntut cara bekerja dengan sistematis, efisien, membutuhkan keterampilan tangan, serta walaupun bekerja bersama tim tapi setiap individu memiliki porsi kerjanya masing-masing . hal ini sangat cocok dengan orang berkepribadian realistic sebagai tipe kepribadian terbanyak dari responden. On the other hand, SMK is an educational institution that facilitates various student interests and prepares students to be ready to enter the world of work. There are various contributing factors, one of which is students' confusion in determining their interests. Interests are related to personality, in this case John Holland's personality types, namely RIASEC (realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional) can be an option. This research aims to calculate the percentage of each personality type for every class X student majoring in TITL (Electrical Power Installation Engineering) at SMK N 9 MUARO JAMBI. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Considering the population size, this research uses non-probability sampling/total sampling techniques. so that the entire research population was used as a sample, namely 30 respondents. Respondents in the Likert scale questionnaire consisted of 59 items (11 negative items and 48 positive items) to determine the personality type of each respondent. The results of the respondents' answers are then processed using a percentage formula. Based on the results of writing data processing in the form of filling out a Likert scale questionnaire conducted by the author on 30 respondents in class conventional each by 10%. This indicates that respondents have almost even personality types with relatively close comparisons per personality type (the dominant personality type does not exceed 50%). The TITL major is a major that requires working systematically, efficiently, requires manual skills, and although working with a team, each individual has their own share of work. This is very suitable for people with realistic personalities as the most common personality type among respondents.
