Abstract
This study aimed to analyze teacher’s teaching strategies in teaching speaking to young learners at Global Course Jambi. The research method used was qualitative, utilizing interview, observation, and documentation as data collection tools. The analysis results indicated that the teacher employed various strategies in teaching speaking to their students. Some of the most commonly used strategies included communication games, simulations, and interactive dialogues with roleplay. These findings demonstrated that creative and interactive teaching strategies were highly effective in enhancing students’ speaking skills in a course or non-formal institution. This study provided a significant contribution to understanding effective teaching strategies in the context of English language education for young learners.
