Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya karakter peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar khususnya karakter religius. Terdapat persoalan akhlak, moral, budi pekerti, dan karakter seperti penggunaan bahasa dan kata-kata yang kurang baik ketika berkomunikasi, rendahnya rasa hormat kepada guru dan orang tua, kurang tekunnya dalam melaksanakan kewajiban shalat, rendahnya kemampuan dalam membaca kitab suci Al-Qur’an, kurang tertarik dalam mempelajari ajaran agama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui kesenian hadrah di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian pada Januari-Februari 2024. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kegiatan kesenian hadrah yang dilakukan secara rutin setiap minggunya dapat membentuk karakter religius pada peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Pembentukan karakter religius dapat dilihat dari perbuatan siswa yang lebih mencerminkan karakter religius tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkam bahwa kesenian Hadrah di SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian telah berhasil membentuk karakter religius pada peserta didik. Terbukti dengan keberhasilan penelitian ini. Karakter religius peserta didik terbentuk melalui kegiatan kesenian hadrah yang dilakukan secara rutin. Abstract: This research is motivated by the low character of students in elementary schools, especially religious character. There are problems of morals, morals, manners, and character such as the use of language and words that are not good when communicating, low respect for teachers and parents, lack of diligence in carrying out prayer obligations, low ability to read the holy book Al-Qur'an, lack of interest in learning religious teachings. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive method which aims to describe the formation of students' religious character through hadrah art in elementary school. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian in January-February 2024. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that with the hadrah art activities carried out routinely every week can form religious characters in students in elementary schools. The formation of religious character can be seen from the actions of students who reflect more high religious character. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Hadrah art at SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian has succeeded in shaping religious character in students. Evidenced by the success of this research. The religious character of students is formed through hadrah art activities which are carried out regularly.
