Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the government in community economic development and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors faced in the economic development of the community in Bedaro Rampak Village, Tebo Tengah District, Tebo Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data analysis technique in this research uses an interactive model. The research results indicate that the government policy of Bedaro Rampak Village, Tebo Tengah District, Tebo Regency in the development of community economic enterprises, especially home industry klanting, receives training, guidance, and facilitates facilities for business actors, also as an extension of the government's hand in fostering, directing, and controlling, including opening market opportunities, especially outside the regional market. In addition, the facilities provided by the government as one of the conveniences to obtain business capital assistance from banks, thus establishing community development activities for home industry groups
