Abstract

INTISARI Ultisol merupakan ordo tanah yang mengalami pelapukan lanjutan. Ultisol tergolong lahan marginal dengan tingkat produktivitasnya rendah, Kandungan bahan organik yang rendah akan menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas tanah baik fisik, kimia, dan biologi. Upaya untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah yaitu dengan penambahan bahan organik. Penambahan bahan organik dapat berupa kompos.salah satu kompos yang dapat diaplikasikan berupa kotoran ayam dan lamtoro. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 24 petak percobaan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu, K0 (Tanpa kompos kotoran ayam dan lamtoro), K1 (Kompos Kotoran Ayam dan Lamtoro 5 ton/ha), K2 (Kompos Kotoran Ayam dan Lamtoro 10 ton/ha), K3 (Kompos Kotoran Ayam dan Lamtoro 15 ton/ha), K4 (Kompos Kotoran Ayam dan Lamtoro 20 ton/ha), K5 (Kompos Kotoran Ayam dan Lamtoro 25 ton/ha). Parameter tanah yang diamati Bahan organik, Bobot volume tanah, Total ruang pori tanah, Persen agregat tanah dan Kemantapan agregat tanah, sedangkan parameter tanaman yaitu tinggi dan hasil Tanaman dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam pada taraf kepercayaan 95% (α = 5% ) kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu pemberian kompos kotoran ayam dan lamtoro dengan dosis 20 ton/ha adalah dosis terbaik dalam upaya memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah yaitu menurunkan bobot volume tanah, meningkatkan total ruang pori tanah, meningkatkan persen agregat tanah terbentuk dan kemantapan agregat tanah. Pemberian kompos kotoran ayam dan lamtoro dengan dosis 20 ton/ha berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan hasil kedelai dibandingkan dengan tanpa pemberian perlakuan. ABSTRACT Ultisol is an order of soil that experiences advanced weathering. Ultisol is classified as marginal land with a low level of productivity. Low organic matter content will cause a decline in soil quality both physically, chemically and biologically. Efforts to improve soil properties are by adding organic material. The addition of organic material can be in the form of compost. One of the composts that can be applied is chicken manure and lamtoro. This research was carried out using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications so that there were 24 experimental plots. The treatments used are, K0 (Without composted chicken manure and Lamtoro), K1 (Composted Chicken Manure and Lamtoro 5 tons/ha), K2 (Composted Chicken Manure and Lamtoro 10 tons/ha), K3 (Composted Chicken Manure and Lamtoro 15 tons /ha), K4 (Chicken Manure Compost and Lamtoro 20 tons/ha), K5 (Chicken Manure Compost and Lamtoro 25 tons/ha). The soil parameters observed were organic matter, soil volume weight, total soil pore space, percent of soil aggregates and soil aggregate stability, while plant parameters, namely plant height and yield, were analyzed using variance at a confidence level of 95% (α = 5%) then continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of the research that has been carried out are that the application of chicken manure and lamtoro compost at a dose of 20 tons/ha is the best dose in an effort to improve the physical properties of the soil, namely reducing the volume weight of the soil, increasing the total pore space of the soil, increasing the percentage of soil aggregates formed and the stability of the soil aggregates. Providing chicken manure and lamtoro compost at a dose of 20 tonnes/ha had a significant effect in increasing soybean yields compared to no treatment.
