Pd., M. Pd. (II) Novia Sri Dwijayanti, S. Pd., M. Pd. Kata Kunci: Peran Teman Sebaya, Self Confidence, Prestasi Belajar Kegiatan belajar adalah salah satu proses yang dilakukan di sekolah. Hal ini berarti bahwa berhasil tidaknya pencapaian tujuan pendidikan banyak bergantung kepada pencapaian taksonomi pendidikan yang dialami siswa yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar dapat dilihat juga dari hasil yang dicapai oleh siswa.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Peran Teman Sebaya dan Self Confidence Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas XII IPS Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMAN 11 Kota Jambi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPS di SMAN 11 Kota Jambi sebanyak 135 siswa dan diambil secara simple random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Ex-post Facto. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan google form. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif.   Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan secara parsial bahwa variabel peran teman sebaya berpengaruh negatif  dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel = -4.742 < 1,660 dan nilai sig 0.00 < 0.05.  secara parsial variabel self confidence tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai sig lebih besar dibanding 0,05 atau 0.248 > 0.05, dan nilai thitung < ttabel = -1,161 < 1,660. Secara simultan peran teman sebaya dan self confidence terhadap prestasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Dengan nilai uji Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel yaitu 16,782 > 3.09 dan nilai sig lebih kecil dari 0.05 yaitu 0.00 < 0.05.   Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan menyangkut hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan peran teman sebaya dan self confidence serta kaitannya dengan prestasi belajar, dan diharpakan menjadi literatur agar dapat memiliki peran teman sebaya dan self confidence yang positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Pd., M. Pd. (II) Novia Sri Dwijayanti, S. Pd., M. Pd. Keywords: Role of Peers, Self Confidence, Learning Achievement Learning activities are one of the processes carried out at school. This means that the success or failure of achieving educational goals depends a lot on the achievement of the educational taxonomy experienced by students which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. In an educational institution, the success of the teaching and learning process can also be seen from the results achieved by students. This study aims to determine the effect of the role of peers and self-confidence on the learning achievement of XII social studies class students in economic subjects at SMAN 11 Jambi City both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were XII social studies students at SMAN 11 Jambi City as many as 135 students and taken by simple random sampling. This research is a quantitative approach with the Ex-post Facto method. Data collection techniques in this study using google form. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows partially that the peer role variable has a negative and significant effect on learning achievement with a tcount value smaller than the ttable = -4.742 < 1.660 and a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05. partially the self confidence variable has no effect on learning achievement with a sig value greater than 0.05 or 0.248> 0.05, and the tcount value < ttable = -1.161 < 1.660. Simultaneously the role of peers and self confidence on learning achievement has a positive and significant effect. With the Fhitung test value greater than Ftabel, namely 16.782> 3.09 and the sig value is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.00 < 0.05. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that it can add knowledge and insight regarding matters relating to the role of peers and self-confidence and their relation to learning achievement, and is expected to become literature in order to have a positive role of peers and self-confidence in student achievement
