Abstract
INTISARI Cabai merah keriting (Capsicum annuum L.) merupakan varietas cabai dengan daya adaptasi yang baik. Tumbuhan ini dapat tumbuh dan berkembang baik di dataran rendah maupun di dataran tinggi, di lahan sawah maupun tegalan. Cabai merah keriting merupakan komoditas yang sangat komersial. Cabai merupakan produk kebun sayur yang banyak digunakan oleh petani Indonesia. Permintaan cabai menunjukkan akan terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk dan stabilitas ekonomi yang tinggi. Provinsi Jambi merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil cabai merah yang terus berkembang. Cabai merah memegang peranan penting dalam konsumsi dalam negeri, sehingga Provinsi Jambi dapat memproduksi cabai merah dalam skala besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji interaksi pemberian trichotithonia dan citrin terhadap prtumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah keriting serta guna mendapatkan dosis trichitithonia dan citorin terbaik terhadap interaksi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah keriting. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Teaching and Research Farm fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakasanakan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Desember 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan mengkombinasikan dua faktor yang terdiri dari 9 kombinasi perlakuan yaitu, T1C1= tanpa pemberian pupuk, T2C1= trichotithonia 10 ton ha-1 + citorin 0 ml, T3C1= trichotithonia 20 ton ha-1 + citorin 0 ml, T1C2= trichotithonia 0 ton h-1 + citorin 2 ml, T2C2= trichotithonia 10 ton ha-1 + citorin 2 ml, T3C2= trichotithonia 20 ton ha-1 + citorin 2 ml, T1C3= tichotithonia 0 ton ha-1 + citorin 4 ml, T2C3= trichotithonia 10 ton ha-1 + citorin 4 ml, T3C3= trchotithonia 20 ton ha-1 + citorin 4 ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai dosis trichotithonia dan citorin tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tanaman cabai, namun secara individul memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata terhadap variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, umur tanaman mulai berbunga, jumlah buah per tanaman, jumlah cabang produktif, berat buah per tanaman, umur panen, diameter buah dan panjang buah. Kata kunci : trichotithonia, citorin, cabai merah, pertumbuhan dan hasil ABSTRACT Red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the chili varieties that has good adaptability. This plant can grow and develop both in the lowlands and highlands, in paddy fields and moorlands. Red chili is a very commercial commodity. Chili is one of the vegetable products that are widely cultivated by Indonesian farmers. Demand for chili peppers shows that it will continue to increase along with population growth and high economic stability. Jambi Province is one of the growing red chili producing areas. Red chili plays an important role in household consumption, so Jambi Province can produce red chili on a large scale. This study aims to examine the interaction of trichotithonia and citorin on the growth and yield of curly red chili plants and get the best dose of trichitithonia and citorin on the interaction of growth and yield of curly red chili plants. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University, Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. This research was conducted from June to December 2022. This research was conducted using a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) by combining two factors consisting of 9 treatment combinations, namely, T1C1= without fertilizer application, T2C1= trichotithonia 10 tons ha-1 + citorin 0 ml, T3C1= trichotithonia 20 tons ha-1 + citorin 0 ml, T1C2= trichotithonia 0 tons h-1 + citorin 2 ml, T2C2= trichotithonia 10 tons ha-1 + citorin 2 ml, T3C2= trichotithonia 20 tons ha-1 + citorin 2 ml, T1C3= trichotithonia 0 tons ha-1 + citorin 4 ml, T2C3= trichotithonia 10 tons ha-1 + citorin 4 ml, T3C3= trchotithonia 20 tons ha-1 + citorin 4 ml. The results showed that the provision of various doses of trichotithonia and citorin had no significant effect on the yield of chili plants, but individually gave significantly different results on the observed variables, namely plant height, age of flowering, number of fruits per plant, number of productive branches, fruit weight per plant, harvest age, fruit diameter and fruit length.
