Abstract
Hubungan Persepsi Rasa Aman di Sekolah Dengan Perilaku Bystander pada Fenomena Bullying di SMP Kota Jambi Wahyuni Dwi Agustina1, Verdiantika Annisa2, Annisa Andriani3 1Jurusan Psikologi, Universitas Jambi/ wahyunidwiagustina666@gmail.com 2Jurusan Psikologi, Universitas Jambi/ verdiantikaannisa@unja.ac.id 3Jurusan Psikologi, Universitas Jambi/ annisa.andriani@unja.ac.id ABSTRAK LATAR BELAKANG : Permasalahan bullying merupakan permasalahan krusial yang seringkali dihadapi oleh pihak institusi pendidikan, tidak mengherankan jika isu bullying menuntut penanganan yang serius dan cukup besar karena merupakan permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan. Dalam fenomena bullying ada pelaku, korban dan pengamat. Pihak pengamat tak kalah berperan penting dalam mengurangi fenomena bullying. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi bystander dalam menolong korban bullying adalah persepsi siswa akan rasa aman di sekolah TUJUAN : Untuk melihat hubungan persepsi rasa aman di sekolah dengan perilaku bystander pada fenomena bullying di SMP Kota Jambi. METODE : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan 132 siswa di SMP Kota Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling dengan instrumen pengukuran skala persepsi rasa aman di sekolah yaitu The SRS Safe Schools Survey versi secondary student dan perilaku bystander yang dianalisis menggunakan Pearson’s Product Moment. HASIL : Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya hubungan korelasi negatif antara persepsi rasa aman di sekolah dengan perilaku bystander pada siswa-siswi di SMP Kota Jambi dengan koefisien r sebesar -0.317 dengan nilai p <0.001. Hasil ini menunjukkan korelasi negatif yang lemah antara kedua variabel. KESIMPULAN : Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara persepsi rasa aman di sekolah dan perilaku bystander pada siswa-siswi di SMP Kota Jambi dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,317. The issue of bullying is a crucial problem that is often faced by educational institutions, it is not surprising that the issue of bullying demands serious and considerable handling because it is a problem that is often faced by educational institutions. In the bullying phenomenon, there are perpetrators, victims and bystanders. Bystanders play an important role in reducing the phenomenon of bullying. One of the factors that can influence bystanders in helping victims of bullying is students' perceptions of safety at school. OBJECTIVES: To see the relationship between perceptions of safety at school and bystander behavior in the phenomenon of bullying in junior high school in Jambi City. METHODS : This study used a quantitative method of correlational type. This study involved 132 students in Jambi City junior high schools. The sampling technique in this study used accidental sampling with the measurement instrument of the perception of safety at school scale, namely The SRS Safe Schools Survey version of secondary students and bystander behavior which was analyzed using Pearson's Product Moment. RESULTS: The results of this study found a negative correlation between perceptions of safety at school and bystander behavior in students in Jambi City junior high schools with a coefficient r of -0.317 with a p value of <0.001. These results indicate a weak negative correlation between the two variables. CONCLUSIONS: There is a significant negative relationship between perceived sense of security at school and bystander behavior in students at Jambi City Junior High School with a correlation coefficient of -0.317.
