Abstract
ABSTRACT Fertility is a woman's ability to give birth to a living child during her reproductive period, The baby was born showing signs of life, including heartbeat, moving, breathing, crying and so on. The aim of this research is to identify factors that influence fertility in the inner child tribe in Jambi Province. The design of this research was an Observational Analytic Study, which was carried out in Jambi Province with samples determined multistage in Jelutih Village, Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency and in Bukit Suban Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. The total sample was 115 people selected using the Proportional Simple Random Sampling method. Data analysis technique using the StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM) equation model using the Smart PLS application. The results of the analysis show that demographic, conception and environmental (program) variables are proven to be significantly and significantly related to fertility variables (p-value <0.05). Specifically, there is a structural relationship (p-value 0.062) between Intercourse -> Conception -> Fertility. An increase in intercourse variables (age of first HUS, age of first marriage) will reduce conception variables (use of birth control devices, length of time for HUS after giving birth and increasing age of first birth) so that it has an impact on decreasing fertility levels in SAD in Jambi Province.
