Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Mengetahui pola komunikasi dua arah Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara. 2) Mengetahui tingkat penerapan pengendalian OPT nematoda parasit akar kopi liberika di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara. 3) Menganalisis hubungan pola komunikasi dua arah Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan (PPL) dengan penerapan pengendalian OPT nematoda parasit akar kopi liberika di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September sampai Oktober tahun 2023, di Kecamatan Betara. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, yaitu setiap subjek-subjek di dalam populasi sebanyak 365 orang petani dianggap sama sehingga setiap subjek memperoleh kesempatan yang sama dipilih menjadi sampel sebanyak 40 orang petani yang melaksanakan usahatani kopi liberika dan mengetahui cara pengolahan biji kopi liberika yang tergabung dalam organisasi masyarakat pengolah kopi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji Rank Spearman. Dari hasil uraian analisis dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : 1) pola komunikasi PPL Kopi Liberika di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara yang tertinggi yaitu pola komunikasi dua arah. 2) penerapan pengendalian OPT nematoda parasit akar kopi liberika di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara berada pada kategori tinggi. 3) berdasarkan analisis Rank Spearman diperoleh hasil bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola komunikasi dua arah PPL dengan penerapan pengendalian OPT nematoda parasit akar kopi liberika dalam meningkatkan produksi serta produktivitas kopi liberika di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Betara. Kata Kunci : Pola Komunikasi, Penerapan, Budidaya, Kopi Liberika ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are : 1) To find out the two-way communication patterns of Field Agricultural Instructors (PPL) in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District. 2) To determine the level of implementation of control of the Liberica coffee root parasitic nematode pest in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District. 3) Analyze the relationship between the two-way communication patterns of Field Agricultural Instructors (PPL) and the implementation of control of the Liberica coffee root parasitic nematode pest in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District. The research was conducted from September to October 2023, in Betara District. The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique, that is, each subject in the population of 365 farmers was considered the same so that each subject had the same opportunity to be selected as a sample of 40 farmers who carried out Liberica coffee farming and knew how to process the beans. Liberica Coffee which is part of the coffee processing community organization. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and Spearman Rank test analysis. From the results of the analysis and discussion description, it can be concluded as follows: 1) the communication pattern of PPL Kopi Liberika in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District, is the highest, namely a two-way communication pattern. 2) the implementation of controlling the parasitic nematode pest of Liberica coffee roots in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District is in the high category. 3) Based on the Spearman Rank analysis, the results showed that there was no significant relationship between PPL's two-way communication pattern and the implementation of control of Liberica coffee root parasitic nematode pests in increasing the production and productivity of Liberica coffee in Mekar Jaya Village, Betara District.
