Abstract
Sistem penambangan di PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya adalah sistem tambang terbuka surface mining dengan menerapkan metode opet pit dan sistem back filling pada lahan bekas tambang. Metode open pit berpotensi membentuk suatu cekungan sehingga menjadi tempat akumulasi air yang masuk ke tambang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan di Pit Timur PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya terdapat cekungan yang terbentuk akibat penggalian batubara pada seam C dengan kedalaman 30 meter pada elevasi +310 mdpl, yang dimanfaatkan perusahaan sebagai tempat penampungan air tambang sementara (temporary sump). Penelitian ini diawali dengan mempelajari literatur, kemudian melakukan proses pengambilan data di lapangan berupa data primer dan sekunder. Data primer berupa data dimensi kolam penampungan air (sump) aktual, debit air yang masuk ke dalam sump dan luas catchment area sedangkan data sekunder berupa data curah hujan 10 tahun, data debit pompa dan data spesifikasi pompa dan pipa. Data tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan software tambang, metode E.J.Gumbel, metode Mononobe dan metode rasional. Dari analisis tersebut didapatkan volume sump aktual sebesar 117.273 m3, intensitas curah hujan periode 5 tahun 8,26 mm/jam. Sedangkan debit limpasan Pit Timur sebesar 6.804 m3/jam, debit limpasan sump rencana 1.399,18 m3/jam yang diperoleh dari debit air hujan dijumlahkan dengan debit air limpasan dan debit rencana saluran terbuka sebesar 496,8 m3/jam.. Lama waktu pengeringan sump aktual yaitu 14 hari, rancangan dimensi kolam penampungan air (sump) memiliki tinggi 6 meter dengan lembar dimensi atas 54,28 meter dan panjang dimensi atas 66,28 meter serta dan lebar dimensi alas 42,28 meter dan panjang dimensi alas 52,28 meter. Dimensi saluran terbuka ditentukan berdasarkan debit rencana yang direncanakan mengalir di dalam saluran.terbuka yaitu 496,8 mm3/jam, sehingga rekomendasi rancangan dimensi saluran terbuka adalah lebar dasar saluran 6,7 meter, tinggi saluran 6,2 meter, tinggi air 5,8 meter, lebar permukaan air 10 meter dan lebar tanggul 5 meter. Jumlah pompa yang direkomendasikan untuk mengeluarkan air pada rancangan sump Pit Timur PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya adalah 2 unit dengan debit air yang dihasilkan pompa 600 m3/jam. Pipa yang digunakan dalam pemompaan adalah pipa HDPE (High Density Polyethilen), berdiameter 240 mm. Panjang Pipa 160 m (inlet-outlet), outlet pipa berada pada elevasi +340 mdpl sedangkan inlet berada pada elevasi +285 mdpl. The mining system at PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya is an open pit mining system surface mining by applying the method drink again and system back filling on former mining land. Method open pit has the potential to form a basin so that it becomes a place for accumulation of water entering the mine. Based on the results of field observations in the East Pit of PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya has a basin formed due to coal excavation in seam C with a depth of 30 meters at an elevation of +310 meters above sea level, which the company uses as a temporary mine water reservoir (temporary sump). This research began by studying the literature, then carrying out the data collection process in the field in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data is in the form of water storage pond dimensions (sump) actual, the flow of water entering sump and spacious catchment area while secondary data consists of 10 year rainfall data, pump discharge data and pump and pipe specification data. The data is then processed using software mine, E.J.Gumbel method, Mononobe method and rational method. From this analysis, the volume is obtained sump actual amount is 117,273 m3, the rainfall intensity for the 5 year period is 8.26 mm/hour. Meanwhile, the East Pit runoff discharge was 6,804 m3/ hour, the planned sump runoff discharge is 1,399.18 m3/ hour obtained from rainwater discharge is added to the runoff water discharge and planned open channel discharge of 496.8 m3/hour.. Long drying time sump actual, namely 14 days, the design of the dimensions of the water storage pond (sump) has a height of 6 meters with a top dimension sheet of 54.28 meters and a top dimension length of 66.28 meters and a base dimension width of 42.28 meters and a base dimension length of 52.28 meters. The dimensions of the open channel are determined based on the planned discharge that is planned to flow in the open channel, namely 496.8 mm3/ hour, so the recommended open channel dimensions are 6.7 meters wide at the bottom of the channel, 6.2 meters high, 5.8 meters high, 10 meters wide at the water surface and 5 meters wide at the embankment. Recommended number of pumps to remove water in the design sump Pit Timur PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is 2 units with a water discharge produced by a 600 m pump3/O'clock. The pipe used in pumping is HDPE pipe (High Density Polyethilen), 240 mm in diameter. Pipe Length 160 m (inlet-outlet), outlet The pipe is at an elevation of +340 masl, meanwhile inlet is at an elevation of +285 masl.
