Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, teknologi memiliki peran yang penting yakni dapat membantu mempermudah pendidik maupun peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. E-modul yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi serta penggunaanya yang praktis. Materi ikatan kimia memiliki tingkat keabstrakan yang sangat tinggi, sehingga apabila penggunaan metode pembelajaran tidak tepat, maka peserta didik akan mengalami miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis argument-driven inquiry (ADI) berorientasi kemampuan argumentasi siswa pada materi ikatan kimia, mengetahui kelayakan e-modul secara konseptual, penilaian pendidik dan respon peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Lee & Owens yang menggunakan kerangka ADDIE. Produk hasil dari pengembangan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta dinilai oleh pendidik untuk selanjutnya diuji cobakan kelompok kecil. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis data kualitatif diperoleh komentar dan saran serta analisis data kuantitatif diperoleh dari skor jawaban angket yang disebarkan. Hasil dari penilaian ini bahwa e-modul mendapatkan hasil kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 4,81 (sangat layak) serta memperoleh presentase kelayakan 96,3%, ahli media sebesar 4,66 (sangat layak) dengan presentase kelayakan 93,3%, penilaian guru sebesar 4,81 (sangat layak) memperoleh presentase kelayakan 96,25%, dan dari respon peserta didik memiliki presentase 91,83% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis argument-driven inquiry (ADI) berorientasi kemampuan argumentasi siswa pada materi ikatan kimia memperoleh hasil yang layak secara konseptual, sangat layak secara praktis berdasarkan penilaian pendidik dan sangat baik berdasarkan respon peserta didik. In the world of education, technology has an important role, namely that it can help make things easier for educators and students in the learning process. It is hoped that the e-module developed will make it easier for students to understand the material and its practical use. Chemical bonding material has a very high level of abstractness, so that if the learning method is not used appropriately, students will experience misconceptions. This research aims to develop an argument-driven inquiry (ADI) based e-module oriented towards students' argumentation abilities on chemical bonding material, knowing the conceptual feasibility of the e-module, educators' assessment and students' responses to the product being developed. This research is development research using the Lee & Owens development model which uses the ADDIE framework. The product resulting from the development is validated by material experts and media experts and assessed by educators for further testing in small groups. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis obtained from comments and suggestions and quantitative data analysis obtained from the scores of the questionnaire answers distributed. The results of this assessment are that the e-module obtained a material expert feasibility result of 4.81 (very feasible) and obtained a feasibility percentage of 96.3%, a media expert of 4.66 (very feasible) with a feasibility percentage of 93.3%, teacher assessment amounting to 4.81 (very feasible) obtained a feasibility percentage of 96.25%, and from student responses it had a percentage of 91.83% (very good). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the argument-driven inquiry (ADI)-based e-module oriented towards students' argumentation abilities on chemical bond material obtained results that were conceptually feasible, practically feasible based on educators' assessments and very good based on student responses.
