Abstract

SUSLIANA. P2D122021. Dampak Hutan Tanaman Industri PT. Wirakarya Sakti Terhadap Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Binaan Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Ir. Ernawati HD. M.P. dan Dr. Mirawati Yanita, S.P., M.M. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan pengelolaan HTI yang dilaksanakan oleh PT. WKS Distrik I, 2) menganalisis kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat desa binaan HTI PT. WKS Distrik I dan 3) menganalisis dampak pengelolaan HTI PT. WKS Distrik I terhadap perubahan dan perkembangan sosial ekonomi masyarakat desa binaan. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Purwodadi, Delima dan Dataran Kempas dengan jumlah ukuran sampel sebanyak 97 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan HTI yang terencana dengan baik mampu menciptakan iklim ekonomi yang kondusif serta multiplier effect yang positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dampak sosial ekonomi yang terjadi: 1) pendidikan masyarakat digolongkan pada tingkat pendidikan menengah (tingkat SMA sebesar 59,79%) dan kondisi kesehatan cukup baik (sehat sebesar 98,97%), 2) jenis usaha baru yang berkembang adalah sebagai wiraswasta atau pedagang dengan kesempatan sebesar 20,62% dan peluang pekerjaan sebesar 41,24% sebagai karyawan tetap dan buruh, 3) besarnya penghasilan masyarakat Desa Purwodadi Rp 4.389.394, Desa Delima Rp 4.220.000, Desa Dataran Kempas Rp 4.990.625 dan rata-rata desa Rp 4.462.371, kategori penghasilan masyarakat termasuk golongan sangat tinggi dan tingkat status ekonomi sedang 4) tingkat pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan mempunyai korelasi terhadap peningkatan penghasilan, semakin tinggi tingkat penghasilan maka akan merubah gaya hidup menjadi lebih konsumtif dan lebih perhatian terhadap kesehatan. Guided by Dr. Ir. Ernawati HD. M.P. and Dr. Mirawati Yanita, S.P., M.M. This research aims to: 1) Describe HTI management carried out by PT. WKS District I, 2) analyze the socio-economic conditions of the village community assisted by HTI PT. WKS District I, and 3) analyze the impact of HTI management by WKS District I on the transformation and socio-economic development of the assisted village community. The data used are primary and secondary data. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. This research is conducted in the villages of Purwodadi, Delima, and Dataran Kempas with a total sample size of 97 respondents. The research results show that well-planned HTI management is able to create a conducive economic climate and a positive multiplier effect on community welfare. The socio-economic impacts observed are: 1) community education is classified at the secondary education level (high school level at 59.79%) and health conditions are quite good (healthy at 98.97%), 2) new types of businesses that are developing are as entrepreneurs or traders with an opportunity of 20.62% and a job opportunity of 41.24% as permanent employees and laborers, 3) the income of the people in Purwodadi Village is IDR 4,389,394, in Delima Village is IDR 4,220,000, in Dataran Kempas Village is IDR 4,990,625, and the average for the three villages is IDR 4,462,371, placing the community income category in the very high category with a medium level of economic status, and 4) the level of education and type of work correlate with increasing income; the higher the income level, the more likely the lifestyle will be more consumptive and attentive to health.
